Do you ever have those days where you feel like it's Monday all over again, because it's just crazy and busy and you even FORGET TO EAT!?!?!? Now, if you know me, you KNOW that I NEVER forget meals! Well, it is 2:00 right now, and I am just now getting to lunch!
This is the t-shirt I should be wearing today:
This is who I feel like today:
No, I don't feel like Tyra Banks, but I feel how she looks right now. Like a LOONEY TOON!!!So this morning started off wonderfully! I woke up with Jamie, we had egg-in-a-hole and strawberries for breakfast, then I went on a lovely 5 mile walk this morning! Apparently, it rained last night, so this morning was cool and crisp and just beautiful! So that was great!
But here's when it gets crazy!
The good news is, Jamie was able to put the music from my ipod on his lap top. So the itunes are recovered! Woo Hoo! Bad news is, I started to sych it this morning and lo and behold...that takes a really long time when you're starting from scratch! So I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off, waiting for it to load! Why, you ask, was I waiting on my ipod? Well, I had to be at a daycare for Kindermusik, and all of my kiddy music is on my ipod that was getting synched. (Is that how you even spell that word? I dunno. Anyway.)
Ipod got loaded. I went to the daycare. The kids were delightful! They were precious! One little boy may need to be absent next week, because he drove me crazy and is too wiggly for kindermusik, but overall, today went really well.
Passport:
Next on the list today: Getting my name changed on my passport. OUCH that hurt! Did you know getting your name changed costs $110!!! How ridiculous is that?!?! Dumb dumb dumb! It was actually a very painless process, because I was the ONLY one at the post office. Can you believe it?! I was shocked! But writing that check to this insane government hurt my heart a little bit. My handwriting was shaky and I really didn't want to write that triple digit number in the "money spot" on the check. Lame.
Plato's Closet:
What a joke that place is. I took in a bunch of REALLY nice shirts that Jamie doesn't want anymore. We're talking, really nice Abercrombie and American Eagle shirts and I had a few clothes for them to take. They only took 2 dresses and a pair of pants and I got $11.10. Lame. That place is outa control!! Good thing is, Goodwill is going to get the rest of those clothes and will make other people very happy! Plato's Closet...you're a joke!
Later today:
I'm home for about 45 minutes and then I gotta go 30 minutes away to Impact Ministry Church for my girls bible study. I printed off their cute pictures and they're decorate frames today so we can hang them on the wall in our room and have a little bit of "ownership" over our bible study room. They'll love it! So I'm excited to see them!
I'm making grilled chicken caesar salad for dinner and then Jamie and I will probably go on a walk. It will be a good evening!
Tragedy:
I am unsure of the details, but my mother-in-law texted me this morning, telling me about another girl in my brother-in-law's graduating class that passed away in a car wreck this week. That is the 4th person to die in less than 2 years. This girl had a sister who previously died in a car wreck as well. I'm not going to say the family's name for privacy reasons, but just pray for that family. God knows who they are. Also pray for the kids at Bartlesville and the families affected by this tragedy. Praise Jesus that she was a Christian and is now walk on streets of gold with our Heavenly Father. So I know everyone who knew her can rest assured in that, knowing that she is in Heaven and not hurting anymore. But please keep that family in your prayers. Thank you.
So today was crazy. I am just now getting home for lunch, to let my dog out, clean up a bit and then turn right around and head out the door! I like busy days, though :) They make me feel good! I hope you all have a great Thursday afternoon and evening! Just think! Tomorrow is Friday! woo hoo! Enjoy this video....it makes me happy. Really happy. Please have your sound out, too! I hope this guy is for real though, because it's just too funny! Love you all and God bless!!!
PS...I had a Nutter Butter at the post office today when I left. I knew it was going to be a long time til lunch. And it was DELICIOUS! Thank you, Little Debbie for inventing those yummy snacks!

So...where are you going that you need your passport? I need to change mine, but the cost just confirmed that I won't for a little while!
