So I TOTALLY caved and got some maternity pictures taken. My parents were in town for a few days this week, and since my dad is a professional photographer, I figured, "why not take a few pictures of my pregnant gut before baby girl arrives?" I know I'll want this memory of carrying my first baby, and I'm actually really glad I got a few (around 200) pictures taken to remember this time in my life. So here are some of my favorites that I want to share with you...
Outfit #1
This was a REALLY difficult pose to do. YOU try carrying a baby, arching your back and sitting in a weird position on a freezing cold bench. It ain't easy, my friends.
And this isn't my favorite picture of me, because it was wildly uncomfortable...and you can see where my Spanx don't cover my whole belly. #preggoproblems
But I do think that picture is romantic and beautiful and enchanting. Just a little insecure.
Outfit #2
We took all of these pictures in a neighborhood near me with two gigantic live oak trees with tons of gorgeous Spanish moss all over the place. It was really beautiful. I think my parents customers will be a little upset when they learn that they'll have to travel to Louisiana for the "Bayou Photo Sessions" to get this background. You're not going to find trees like this in Tulsa, OK.
This dress is not maternity (and neither was the first outfit), but it still fit, and I loved the color. Very monochromatic and neutral.
"Serious" pictures tend to be kind of difficult, because I end up laughing or looking constipated, but I was SOOO cold taking these pictures in a sleeveless dress that serious was easy to do.
For real, when my dad edits these pictures, he'll have to photoshop my shiver bumps.
Outfit #3
My mom got me a set of alphabet blocks and Camie got baby Scho her first pair of Toms, so those just had to be props for this photo session.
Please take note that baby girl has Toms matching her mama's.
Mama Ervin was less than thrilled to watch her pregnant daughter climbing a tree to get this picture.
Anything for a good picture, ma!
These baby Toms slay me.
This is actually my favorite little series of pictures. Totally casual. Very me. Relaxed. And warm.
Only 6 weeks and 2 days left! Whoop Whoop!
Love you guys! Thanks for stopping by :)

Gorgeous! What treasures!
