MoonPie

Good afternoon! How are ya? I hope this blogster finds you well :)

MoonPies....Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm:
Guess what I just ate? A chocolate moon pie. Yesterday in church, someone brought up a moon pie, and I ooo'd and aaaah'd about how much I love moon pies. How sick is that? Well, the lovely Sarah Berryhill heard my love for moon pies and brought me one! YESSS!!! What's really sick is the nutrition information. What nutrition!? Listen to this:
  • Calories: 300
  • Total Fat: 7 grams
  • Total Carbs: 55 grams
  • Sugar: 27 grams
OH MYLANTA! I just consumed that!!! Oh well. I'll be moving around all day, cleaning and organizing, and going to the gym AND going on a 5 mile walk. So you stop your judging this minute!!!! What's YOUR guilty pleasure?

PERFECT Weather:
Yesterday was the start to our gorgeous Autumn weather. I wasn't very smart and I wore a long maxi dress with no straps. I was a tid bit chilly willy to say the least, but I loved it all at the same time! I LOVE the falling leaves and the crunch they make when I walk on them. I LOVE everyone out walking and not sweating their faces off. I LOVE the colors and smells! Oh gosh, I've said all this before. But let's just be honest. This is the greatest season ever! (Get used to me talking about Fall. I'll do it all season.)
Sunday School:
I had a mini-breakdown in Sunday School yesterday. We were talking about what community means in the church and in our class as well. Long story short, I spoke up and said that our class does a PHENOMENAL job at welcoming people. Pride and awkwardness and popularity aside, Jamie and I were welcomed into that class with open arms! Everyone has been so nice and so friendly and so awesome since day 1! I'm not kidding. If you are in my Sunday School class, THANK YOU! You're fantastic! I grew up hating Sunday School, because I just didn't "fit in" and the people at my church made me feel like that too. Not fun. So anyway, "Awkward Abby" began her breakdown by saying, "I just want to give y'all an air high five..." And then I put my hands in the air as if I was "high-fiving" everyone around me. WHAT?!?!? Who does that? Apparently, I do. But anyway, I just wanted to publicly thank the class for being so fantastic. My class is what a Sunday School class should really be like. Thanks again. You're all rock stars in my book!

Fishers of Men:
In church, Brother Gaines spoke on being a fisher of men. I think he'll post his sermon sometime today or tomorrow. So check it out!! Some of the points that I wrote down off the notes were:
  • You can't be mean and be a soul winner too. You must have a spirit of compassion to win souls to Christ.
  • Revelation 1:18--we serve a God who is alive and well!
  • We need to act like clay and allow Jesus to be our Potter. Allow Him to mold us into the disciple we need to be.
  • If not now, then when? If not here, then where? If not you, then who? Quit wasting time. Now, here and you are the perfect components to leading people to Christ! Commit to it and be a leader for the Lord!
I'm not sure how many, if any, of you watch Brother Gaines' sermons, but he's fantastic. You can listen to his sermons here. He preaches sound doctrine and truth straight from scripture. If you don't have a bible at home, Bible Gateway is an excellent source for you! I am on it all the time looking stuff up. If you have any questions about anything, please feel free to ask! I am an open book and would love to chit chat! For real. Holla atcha girl!!!

Monday Cleaning:
Mondays are my cleaning days. Today, I'm going to do laundry, clean everything up, organize all of our papers, and somehow make Jamie's office a little neater. We'll see how that goes. Wish this Cinderella "Good luck!" Then I'm working out and walking and waiting for my Beloved to get home!
I hope your Monday is a great one! Do something fun today! Love y'all and God bless ya!
