It is officially in the single digits until Fall! 9 days! Woo Hoo!!
Nashville:
This past weekend, Jamie and I went to Nashville, TN with BJ and Sarah to move a couch to Sarah's brother's new apartment with Jamie's truck. Oh what a trip that was. We left around 8:30 in the morning and didn't get back till 11:00 ish at night. Long stinkin' day! But we had a great time along with some huge laughs!
Let me just paint this picture for you. Since boys always win, they rode in the front seats of the truck with plenty of leg room while Sarah and I crammed in the back. I was literally sitting with my legs straddling Jamie's seat. It was one of my classier moments, for sure. But that was a long 3 1/2 hours in the back of a small back seat! Poor Sarah is tall with long legs so I know she was more crammed than I was. Next time, I drive and Sarah is up front with me!
After we dropped off the couch, Sarah's lovely family took us out for lunch at Chili's. Yummy! Then we went downtown to see the great city of "Nashvegas!" It was hot and muggy and hillbilly! Oh the people watching....wow. Wish I could have whipped out my camera for some of the sights we saw. Here are some of our pictures from down town :)
We literally stopped at an intersection for BJ to pose and Jamie to play photographer. Classy. Check out BJ's pose and the sign. Love it:

New Decorations:
Remember last week when I was mourning over the fact that I wasn't going to purchase any decorations for Fall? Well, look at what came in my care package from my outstanding mother-in-law! Lots of Halloween stuff and Fall-smelling candles! AND CHOCOLATE TOO!!! How much fun is all of that? Don't worry, my Fall and Halloween decorations are already put up around the house :) I'm ready for trick-or-treaters. I'm even thinking about having a little Halloween partay (hay ho!)! It wouldn't be on Halloween night, but it would be maybe the weekend before. I just like having people over and I love Halloween and why decorate your house if you're not going to show it off? So, yeah. That's what I'm thinkin'.
Bad News:
My laptop is a gonner. I think the hard drive crashed. Guess what is on that laptop? Everything. All my pictures. All my music. Everything. Jamie feels optimistic that he can get everything off. Keep feeling optimistic baby, because I'm super duper fruper bummed! Yeah, I said "fruper". Anyhoo. Feel sorry for me. No. Don't. I'm just bummed :(
