Easter Dresses

Okay, raise your hand if you grew up shopping for Easter dresses (girls)/slacks and pastel shirt (boys)!? My hand is up. I shopped every year for Easter dresses with my sister and usually we matched our girl cousins who are around my age. And sometimes, we even had hats too! Anyone recall the long ribbon sashes tied loosely around our waist, and the white frilly socks that were folded over with the white patent leather shoes? Good times. Good times.

Since then, we've clearly evolved into a more sophisticated approach to Easter apparel, and I'm hoping to shop for it this weekend :) Every Easter, and pretty much every other holiday is a fashion show with my family. I have a sexy hot bunch of girl cousins, including my sister, and I always wanted to make sure I looked "cute" for my family. WHAT?! Who the hay cares?! No one in my familia. I apparently did. Ridic. Ulous.

All this to say, I'm hoping my beloved will let me shop for an Easter dress this weekend. We're having Easter lunch with our friends, Phillip and Claire, BJ and Sarah. Plane tickets are stupid expensive and neither of us have Good Friday off work, so we're staying here. Sarah and Claire told me they already have their Easter dresses lined up, so I need to match my fashion forward friends and go shoppin'!! Holla!
