Sunday morning was bittersweet. I LOVE being on vacation, but there is always a tiny part of me that is ready to be back. Back to a schedule. Back to my puppy. Back to a little normalcy. But at the same time...I really miss having this view every morning:
The lazy river was my favorite part of The Atlantis:
But it was hardly lazy. There were rapids and waves and craziness on that so-called "lazy" body of water. It was the best.
I miss the slides:
I'm usually not a slide person, because you have to walk up stairs to get to any slide. I hate heights. I hate standing in long lines, while up high, thinking I'm going to fall off and plummet to my death. It's frightening.

I hate standing in long lines, while up high, thinking I'm going to fall off and plummet to my death. It's frightening. But the stairs to these slides were closed in, so it was so big deal! Therefore, I loved these slides :)
Sunday morning, we all ate breakfast for one last time as a little family before Marty and Kim had to head to the airport. We were all heading in different directions. Illinois, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Arkansas...all parts of the USofA.
After breakfast, Jamie crawled back in bed and I wanted one last walk on the beach. I hadn't seen the ocean since our Honeymoon, so I wanted to soak up our last few moments on the sand.
Okay, no judging, but I just HAD to be cheesy and do the whole JS *hearts* AS thing in the sand:
Ya know, it's really hard to do that without getting your feety prints in the way. Next to the "A", you can see some tootsies. Whoops.

I miss the beautiful water:
All of those gorgeous colors:
The sounds of the waves:
It was a perfect vacation. I loved seeing Marty, Kim, Camie, Darrin and Kirby :) Love and miss you guys already! Marty and Kim, thank you for a beyond outstanding trip. I'll cherish all of our memories that we made there. I love you all so much!
In light of Funny Video Friday, I am going to share the most hilarious video that Jamie shared with me last night. It is 6 minutes long, but it is so funny! Watch it all and enjoy:
