Dog Sings the Blues

I hope everyone's Friday has been beyond spectacular! I woke up at 6:30 this morning, stayed in bed until 8:30 watching "Saved by the Bell" on Netflix (so glad they added it, by the way!!!) and then decided that Leia probably needed to go potty. Then I took a long bubble bath, shaved my legs, didn't wash my hair (pony tail day) , got ready for work and opened the store doors at 10:00 AM. Worked until 3:00, had a lupper (lunch + supper) with Jamie at this fabulous BBQ joint, took a quick afternoon nap, walked my doggie, ate some Ramen and now I'm blogging while watching Crimes of Fashion with Kaley Cuoco with Leia Lu while Jamie snoozes. I'd say my weekend is going perfectly thus far.

The weather here has been PERFECT sundress weather, so I've whipped out the sundresses, bermuda shorts, spaghetti strap flowy shirts and sandals. Glory to God in the highest! Evidently the summers here in humid Lafayette are pretty wretched, so I'm embracing this perfect low 80's weather. Have you all been able to enjoy your weather wherever you live? Hopefully you're able to get out and go on a walk, run, play with your pets or kids, plant some flowers and just enjoy God's beautiful creation! BUT! If you are outside, wear that SPF. Protect your skin :) That's the dork in Abby coming out, but I'm a big believer in skin care.
