Packing for Cruising

Haven't you all missed me?! I mean. Like missed me more than words can say?!? I know you have. It's okay to be honest with yourself. Well, I'm back from the cruise and it was sooo much fun! Here's how I'm going to share my cruising experience with you. I'm going to split it up by days, because I took lots of pictures and we had loads of fun! Therefore, I'll have 6 posts: Sunday through Friday. Hold onto your pants, folks! Here's the beginning of the cruise stories!

What I packed:

As much as you have been dying to get a post from me this past week (sarcasm intended), I know you're all wondering what I brought on the cruise. For those of you who know me, I am a WONDERFUL packer! Absolutely wonderful! Because I pack everything! I overpack like crazy and and am never without options. Get used to it, James, because that'll never change :)

4 swimsuits (the blue one isn't pictured, because it was on my last post):
Swimsuit coverups. Yes, I needed 2 dresses and a skirt:
I like options, remember?

Workout apparel:

We worked out most mornings. I work out because I eat. I love to eat. I love to workout. Done and done.

Tank tops:
PJ's:
Poke-a-dot dress that I wore on Monday as we got on the ship:
Flower maxi dress that I wore Monday night:
"Formal" attire for "Formal Night" on Tuesday:
Comfy cotton dress that I wore on Sunday as I traveled. I wore this with leggings. Airports and traveling=comfy attire:
Blue dress worn Wednesday night:
Black and white dress (with leggings) worn Friday as I traveled. Yet again, comfy travel attire is key:
New flower dress from Target worn Thursday night:
All the shoes I wore:
Running shoes, 4 pair of sandals and chacos. Yes, I needed 3 pairs of black sandals!

And that was pretty much all I packed :) Don't you feel informed now?

Sunday morning, I went on a walk and enjoyed this gorgeous sky:
Leia rode in the car with me as Jamie took me to the airport:
She missed her mama like whoa!

My beloved drove me to the airport. I cried when it was time to say goodbye. I cried a lot. Six days is the longest we've been away from each other since we've been married. I missed him so much:
Lots of time in the airport. Lenny's for lunch:
Love reading Sky Mall. Always entertaining. But I found these shoes. Look at them closely and tell me what is disturbing about them:
The logo on these "Gravity Defying" shoes looks like a sperm! What the hey!? I know what Jamie's getting for Christmas this year!

I flew out of Memphis into Atlanta. Had about a 2 second layover and then headed onto Orlando. There I met my mother-in-law, Kim, my sister-in-law, Camie and my brother-in-law Kirby. We had dinner at Macaroni Grill (I think?...) and hung out in the hotel for a while. Then we meandered up to the roof for some chill time by the pool:
Kirby got a late night snack/2nd dinner. He ordered steak, cheesecake and a tall glass of whole milk. Okay, Santa Claus! Along with his meal came a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries:
Oh. And his tall glass of whole milk.

He also managed to find the arcade. Jamie, he needed you there.
Sunday night, we watched "Something Borrowed" and all settled in for the night before our big morning of boarding the Monarch of the Seas!

More adventures to come later!

Glad to be back! Love you all!
