Happy Memorial Day
It's easy to forget the meaning of today. For most folks (including myself), it's a glorious day off from work, spent with friends and family, eating lots of food, and for many of you, lounging on a boat on the lake (insert jealousy). What we need to do in addition to our day off is to remember those who have fought and are still fighting for our country. I've read a few blogs this morning talking about the bravery shown by countless soldiers in our nation, but I do believe that our dear Pioneer Woman said it best in her post today. Of course, she shows several pictures that her fans have posted of their friends and family who are fighting for our freedom. It's just a very touching post. I encourage you to read it.
Leia Lu's Birthday
In other news, it is our baby girl's 2nd birthday today! I suppose she's actually a teenager in dog years...whatever that means...but I still like to think of her as my baby. I love my sweet puppy gog so very much and feel so blessed to have her in our lives. She's the best!
As if you haven't seen quite enough pictures of her, here are some more in honor of our baby girl. We love you, Leia Lu!
The day we got her. 7 weeks old. On the way back to Stillwater from Jay, OK:
We just got back from having lunch at Houston's. My parents got us a gift card there for Valentine's Day, and we're just now getting around to using it. Absolutely delish! Thanks, mama and daddy!
I'm off to hang out with Jamie and the Birthday girl before I get to cleanin'. Love to you all and have a marvelous Memorial Monday!

Happy Happy Birfday to your cutie puppy gog! I was at your mom's house this weekend and I told my mom later that it looks like Lana's house ATE my new house! tee hee! We devised a plan which involves you coming home to Tulsa before you start making beautiful babies! Here is hoping! Much Love!
