Many of you have been calling, texting, facebooking and e-mailing asking if me and Jamie have been affected by the floods in Memphis. Crazy as it seems, I have a hard time remembering that there are floods in Memphis because I haven't seen any at all! And, the flooding is just a couple miles away from me. They're even just down the street from where I work, but yet Jamie and I have not experienced any floods in our area at home or at work. Praise Jesus for that.

Some Memphians must travel by boat these days. 
So friends, I ask that as you carry about on your day today, please pray for the thousands of Memphis families who are having to move and evacuate because yes, the river is still rising, and yes we are expecting more rain this week.
