Loser Night

Today has been glorious. Absolute bliss. First of all, Jamie has been gone with work since Thursday and now he's in OKC for a wedding that he's in, so I've been all alone...and it's been nice. I NEVER get alone time, so this is unbelievably relaxing and the perfect weekend just to really get to do my own thing. Let's start off with this morning.

I did this all. morning. long.
I woke up around 7:45, grabbed some fruit and cereal, crawled back in bed with LuLu and watched lots and lots of Netflix. I stayed in that bed from then on to about 11:00. And I'm serious. It was lovely. I don't know the last time I was truly able to just lie down and do nothing for hours! Oh, I should do it more often.

I did finally get out of bed and start cleaning and doing some laundry. I had lunch with Holly at Chick Fil A around 12:30 and we stayed for a little over an hour indulging in some of the best chicken sandwiches and waffle fries on the face of this earth. And having wonderful conversation as well, of course.

Before I left, I waited outside for Holly to pick me up and I saw this little goober whimpering at me. What a wuss.
"Mom! Come back, Mom! Please! We'll cuddle! We'll snuggle! We'll continue doing nothing!"

Poor little babe.
She's rather pathetic, isn't she?

When I got home from lunch, I put in another load of laundry, laid down with the dog, and took another nap. Just a short nap. I continued watching lots and lots of Netflix and then finally drug my rear off the couch to the gym. I did about 35 minutes of super fast walking on the treadmill with about 30 minutes of legs. Then I came home and did 55 minutes of pilates. I feel all relaxed and stretched now!

I jumped in a much needed shower and sat down to eat this bowl of deliciousness:
Whole wheat spaghetti on top of a bed of spinach with tomato and basil marinara, Parmesan cheese with a couple pepperonis for some added oomf! I also had a small glass of skim milk to drink...gosh I feel elderly.

I'm also watching The Time Traveler's Wife. I'm about 15 minutes into it and it's rather interesting. I don't really understand what's going on in the movie just yet, but I adore Rachel McAdams, and think she epitomizes classic beauty. If there was ever a movie made about me (most boring movie ever), I'd want her to play me. *In your dreams, Abby!*

Moving on...

Leia Lu is sleeping on my lap (my favorite), I just finished my din din, and am fully enjoying what I like to call, "Loser Night". I plan on enjoying a banana with Nutella for dessert here in a bit, finishing this movie and going to bed late. Tomorrow, I'm going to wake up a little bit early, hit the gym, do some Insanity, go to Starbucks with my gift card, go to church, and then pick up my Lover from the car rental place when he gets back from OKC. Oh boy, am I ready to see him or what?!

Well, I'm out to enjoy my movie and nanner. Have a good one and know I love you!
