Happy Dooda's Day

Happy Father's Day, Dooda!!!

Happy Dooda's Day to the dad who has been my hero for the past 24 years.

To the dad who never missed a thing when I was growing up.

To the dad who was and still is my biggest fan.

To the dad who picked a French fry out of my nose when I was little.

To the dad who took Angela and I to Bells, Chucky Cheese, and Celebration Station because that was "our thing".

To the dad who came to every Dad's Day at OSU for Chi Omega stuff.

To the dad who saw every pom performance I was ever in.

To the dad who cheered me on in Freshman Follies and Varsity Review.

To the dad who has given me the best spiritual advice all my life.

To the dad who was also my Sunday School teacher in the "Old Fart Class" since I was 13 (thanks for letting me tag along).

To the dad who gave me away at my wedding. Thank you for letting me marry my best friend.
To the dad who is always up for a good sushi date with his girls.
To the dad who took us on adventures to Disney World, Grand Cayman, Canada, Colorado, California, Las Vegas, New York and so much more! I have always loved our family vacations.

To the dad who always played in the pool with us at our old house.

To the dad who threw Mikey, the cat, off the balcony onto the couch to entertain my friends. (Mikey loved it, I promise).

To the dad who never judges.

To the dad who accepts all.

To the sacrificial dad who gives up his time to go on international missions to Mongolia, Russia and more.

To the selfless dad who now takes care of his parents.

To the dad who has shown an amazing example of what a godly man and husband should be.

I love you, Dooda and think the world of you. Thanks for all that you do and all that you are!

I love you so much!
I also want to give a special shout out to the best Father-in-Law in the world!! Marty, you are the very best dad-in-law and I don't think I could even dream of a better one! Thank you for treating me like your very own daughter, accepting me into the family with such open arms and more importantly, an open heart. Thank you for always being there for me and Jamie. I am so thankful for you and all that you have done for me over the past 3 and 1/2 years that I've been with Jamie. You're an incredibly solid and outstanding man of God and I thank you for molding Jamie into the man that he is today. I know one day he'll be an excellent father, just like you were and still are to him. Thank you for your faithful example. I love you dearly and am beyond grateful to call you "Dad".
And to Jamie.

Yes, he's a dad too! A dad to little Leia Lu Lu!

Happy Doggy Father's Day to you too, babe! You've been the best dog dad to our first furry child and I love you so much. One fine day, whenever I make you a daddy, I know you'll be the BEST! We've had some fine examples of what a good mommy and daddy should be and I know you'll go above and beyond all expectations when it comes to fatherhood. I love you so much, babe!
Happy Father's Day, everyone!
