Morning, Lovelies!
I've had a pretty productive morning so far. I woke up, did 50 minutes of pilates, threw in a load of laundry, unloaded the dishwasher (hate doing this), showered, hung up laundry, got ready for the day and now I'm sitting here, eating breakfast, bloggifying, watching The Hills and petting my Leia Lu Bear on my lap. Great morning thus far :) Let's keep it that way!
Speaking of The Hills, here's a side note. Kristin Cavallari's voice is like the sound of ripping fabric...aka: the worst sound in the world! Oh it's painful! She's too pretty to have such a heinous voice!! It's kind of whiney and constipated. Ya know?

Anyways.
Last night, Jamie and I had a spa evening. I bought those pore strips and used them on my nose and chin. Let's be honest. I've got some seriously yucko blackheads. TMI? Sorry.
Is that attractive, or what??!!
Breakfast this morning: 5 small strawberries, handfull of blueberries, 1 banana. Egg-in-a-hole and an extra egg white:
I'm REALLY trying hard to have truly balanced meals. This morning, I've got carbs, fruit and protein. For lunch, I'm eating 1/2 a PB&J with natural PB, 1/2 a cucumber, watermelon and a fruit leather. Dinner will be taco salad with salsa for dressing. Healthy? I think so. I really do have about 15 lbs to lose, so I gotta get serious! Plus, we're probably going to get some Jerry's Snow Cones this weekend, so I must prepare for that! Duh!!
WILD HAIR!!!
That's what my hair looked like right after I diffused it with my blow dryer. In the summer, I like to scrunch my hair because the heat is so unruly and I am...well...lazy. So this is a good option. My dad's side of the family has really thick and curly hair and my mom's side has straight hippie hair. So I kind of got a happy medium.
Yeah. Just a little more tame. Not much. Oh well. Once it grows out a little, we'll calm down a bit :)
Today is BIKE DAY at school. The kids all bring their bikes and we ride in circles in the parking lot. It's pretty hilarious and the kids LOVE bringing their own bikes!
Tonight, Claire and I are going to butt-kicking kickboxing! Whoop whoop! I'm excited!
I'm off to the real world. Dang.
Blistie update: They still hurt but I'm able to shower now! Yay! I'm still wearing industrial band-aids and walk a little funny but we're surviving.
