Coolest/Dorkiest Teacher Ever:
Hey, stop the mean comments!! It was silly sock day! Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday, so we have been celebrating all week! Today, we wore silly socks and read The Foot Book and Fox in Socks (which is a really crazy book, by the way!). It was a fun day, and I felt like a dork all day long. I dislike dressing like a fool! My Dad's Saving the World:
My dad has been traveling all over the world sharing the gospel for the past 25+ years. As my co-teacher said, "He needs an extra crown in Heaven for all of the stars he has!" It's so true! He has been spreading the Good News of our sweet Jesus for years. He's been in Mongolia for 10 days now, and my mama is ready to have him home! I haven't heard many stories yet, because he's only able to text a couple times a day, but here are a few pics he has sent:

Don't be too grossed out, folks, but he went a full 9 days without a shower! There wasn't one available! He gets a star a day on his heavenly crown for each day without bathing! But look at that towel! It's a dish towel! And listen to this...I've been looking at the weather while he's been there, and the high has been around 13* and the low has been -30*!!!!! I-Chee-wa-wa! That's really stinkin' cold!!!

One story I heard about was that they spent quite a while chasing a camel just to ride it :) How funny is that? I've never chased after a camel! And the other day, they were playing soccer with some kids and were interrupted by horsemen! What the hey!?! Only in Mongolia!

This was my dad's text the other day, "Mongolian GPS. We would stop and ask these guys directions." My response, "Wow! Good luck to you all! I'd be so screwed there!" I know. I'm classy. But isn't that amazing?! My dad is so cool and I respect his heart for missions and telling the world about the love of Jesus Christ. I hope to be kinda like him one day :)
