NKOTBSB

Don't kid yourself. I went to the New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys concert Monday night. It's okay to be a little jeal of me :)

A few months ago, Jamie and I were at Arby's for lunch (romantic, huh?) and he saw that NKOTBSB would be in town for a reunion concert. Hecks yes!! I had remembered that my friend Claire LOVES BSB, so I called her to see if her and her beloved would want to go with us. Done and done.

We began our Monday night event eating at Kooky Kanuck in Downtown Memphis. NBD (no big deal), this restaurant has been on The Food Network for it's fried goodness. Particularly, their 7 pound burger! Wowzers! Don't worry, we all just dined on burgers and a giant skillet cookie! Yum!

Then it was time. We headed to the FedEx Forum for the big event!!

Right when we walked in, we could hear everyone cheering!

The opening act was this girl named Ashlyne Huff. She was talented, but she was wearing a leotard. Kind of bizarre. It wasn't my cup of tea, but she was a cute girl trying to make it big :) Leave it to touring with boy bands to help with that!!

They really were hilarious. Sadly, you could kind of tell that they've been out of it for a while. They were a little bit rusty, but amazing, nonetheless!

What?! Where's the 5th BSB?!?!:

I whipped out my phone to see why Kevin, the 5th BSB wasn't there. I liked him and always thought he was by far the cutest. He quit a few years back to be a hubby and a daddy. Don't blame him at all.

We actually had pretty good seats. We were supposed to be higher up but since it wasn't a sold out show, they moved us up quite a bit. Yes, please!

The woman on the right was probably in her late 40's and was dancing like cray-cray!! She was dressed like she was right out of Forever 21 (which I love), but she was just a sight to see! I loved all the middle-aged women dancing like teens :)

I didn't know too many NKOTB songs, but they were a lot of fun. The reunion worked for me because it got me listening to BSB more and I want to buy some NKOTB music now! Nicely done, boys!

I liked it when they all came out together. That was my fav!

"AHHHH WE'RE SO CLOSE TO THEM! THEY'RE SO HOT!!!":

They're outfits were hysterical. Claire and I were laughing the whole time at the cheesyness of it all.

At one point, they brought 4 ladies on stage to sing to them. One of them happened to be the one and only, Justin Timberlake's mama. He's from Memphis, you know!

All in all. Top night. So stinkin' fun! We had some HUGE laughs! I felt like a middle-schooler again. Thank you, Jamie for sticking it out with me. I'll go to a death metal concert with you sometime...maybe :) Thank you, Claire and Phillip for going. We had some huge laughs and I'm glad we could all go together! Thank you, NKOTBSB for being STELLAR!!!
