Before I get to my love for the Williams-Sonoma Outlet, let me start from the beginning of my weekend.
Saturday:
A lazy mo-fo I was! I woke up, made waffles for Syrup Saturday for everyone, then watched a few hours of Netflix and finally drug my booty out of bed for 2 hours of killer workouts! I did a ChaLEAN Extreme video, which is awesome by the way, and then I headed to the gym for more cardio. I got this particular workout from Julie at Peanut Butter Fingers. Oooo buddy, did it kick my rear or what?!
The rest of the day was pretty laid back. I went to Williams-Sonoma Outlet to look around and then went to Whole Foods and then to the mall to kill some more time. It was just nice to roam around aimlessly :)
I went to Whole Foods for the first time ever and I've never seen so many skinny, organic hippies in my life! I'm sure everyone there was wondering why the woo-ha I was there! AND it was out of blue-blazin' control! I just wanted to walk around the place and see what the big deal was. It's not. So, I got an organic oatmeal chocolate chip cookie as a little pick-me-up to make up for the stress that crazy place caused me! Plus, I was starving since I had broccoli and a clementine for lunch (need I remind you of the waffle for breakfast...good golly!)
Okay...I'll admit. The cookie rocked my world and I could have easily had 13 more! But...I didn't. Sadly. Cookies are my favorite!
For dinner, Jamie, Ben and I went to Huey's for burgers and then to Yolo for dessert. Talk about a fat night! Shoulda worn my stretchy pants!
Today:
Sunday. Woke up around 9:00. Made an easy, yet delicious breakfast casserole with sausage, eggs, cheese and crescent rolls. We went to church (PHENOMENAL sermon, by the way), we came home and lounged. I went to the gym. Then we had linner (late lunch/early dinner) at Corky's (delicious!), and then....then I went to the Williams-Sonoma Outlet. Again. Then to PetCo to use our $5 coupon :)
Leia Lu eating a new pig ear. Sick.
Williams-Sonoma:
I must warn you that are about to be unbelievably envious of me. But...remember how much you love me and hold back that green eyed monster inside of you!
What a beautiful bag. That's a big bag, huh? That means I got something big. REAL big!
My mother-in-law (who is incredible, by the way) sent me a $200 gift card to WS that she actually got for free because they messed up an order she made a few weeks ago. How nice is that?! Yes, lovely mother-in-laws DO in fact exist, and I have the best one! Love you, Kim!
So I got that in the mail last week, and immediately the wheels began turning for what I wanted to purchase. I've ALWAYS wanted one of those gigantorm Le Creuset dutch ovens, but have refused to fork over $300+ for them. Would it be worth it? Duh. But it's not in the Abby budget these days. So, I looked at the price yesterday and the one I wanted was $330, but with a 25% discount it would be around $250. I could for sure pay a little more than $50 to get this baby. BUT! I went back today and it was only $216! HOLLA!!!
Check it out!
Isn't it beautiful!?!!? I see chili or a pot roast or a stinkin' goose for goodness sakes in my future! I was so excited for this fun and fabulous purchase and just HAD to share with you!! I've entered like every Pioneer Woman give away to win one of these babies and I've given up hope. Now I've got my own. Whoop whoop!
All that to say...I'm excited. What started off as a crummy weekend (Thanks to Friday) has turned out to be pretty fabulous! And now, it's snowing! Praise Jesus!
I hope I haven't written to much. OH what the heck. I know I have! Thanks for bearing with me!
Hope your weekend has been lovely, because YOU are lovely! Love you more than my new dutch oven! (And I mean that...kind of) :)

Love your new Pot! I just went to Williams-Sonoma this weekend and got a Fabulous Sale deal on place mats for my new dinner table!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most beautiful dutch oven I've ever seen. Quite possible due to the fact that you only paid $16 for it! I think a dinner party with roast is in order!
ReplyDeleteI love this blog. And it made me happy (not in a mean way) to know that you had annoying parents bother you last week as well. ME TOO. ANDDDD I just got an email from another one. I'm glad to know I'm not alone!!!
ReplyDeleteOk, so snow day tomorrow... ?? we should work out...
