Back to School

" Back to school. Back to school to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. Got my lunch packed up. My boots tied tight. I hope I don't get in a fight. Oooo back to school...back to school..."

NAME THAT MOVIE!!!

Yes, I'm back at school this morning. Oh joy! It's been pretty good so far. There are only 19 kids in both pre-k and pre school classrooms, so we're together today. I like days like this :)

Leia was driving me bonkers this morning, so I got the clean sheets out of the dryer and put her in them...she never left!

This is her flirty/mysterious face:

This is her over an hour later:
I'm not kidding...she was in there all morning long! She loved those hot sheets!

Last thing I did this morning before I left...brushed my teefers! Thought you might need a visual of it :)

I didn't sleep well last night at all! "Oh bother" as Winnie the Pooh would say. I just couldn't fall asleep to save my life. So I'm a little bit sleepers today.

I did, however, get up and do a work out...by the sheer grace of God. He gave me the energy I didn't know I had in me this morning! Thank you, Jesus!

K-Love:

I love to listen to K-Love, the Christian radio station, in the mornings because it is super uplifting and gets my day started on the right foot. They told a story of a prison guard who listens to K-Love all the time when he's with the prisoners, and he said one day, he was taking them out to do some work and had K-Love playing on the radio. He had it playing all day, and he said that one by one, each of the prisoners began singing praise and worship music. How amazing is that? God's grace is so pure and so awesome and I guarantee those prisoners lives were changed just from listening to wholesome music about Jesus.

I grew up listening to KXOJ, the Tulsa Christian station (It's all my mom played in the car much to my dismay). I wasn't a fan of it growing up because I wanted to listen to "fun" music. But honestly, I'm so grateful she had us listen to it, because it's about all I listen to now. It's uplifting and beautiful and honestly, a lot of it is scripture through song. I love it! Thanks, mamacita!

I encourage you all to find a Christian radio station or just a Christian artist that you enjoy and start listening. See how it can possibly change your life and your attitude. Give it a shot!

The kids are napping, and I'm about to take my break :) Love my job! Love you guys and I hope you have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!
