Break Time at School

I've recently learned to enjoy my breaks while at school. Every teacher gets to/must take a one hour long break during the children's nap time each day. My first two weeks I took maybe a 30 or 35 minute break, because I got bored. The teacher's lounge is too small and too crowded or no completely vacant, so I was just bored. My school is located in the hood, so it's not like I'm going to meander the area. Yeah right! One day, I tried getting exercise walking around, but I felt like a dork after 10 minutes. So I stopped. I suppose I could come home...but I'd only get to stay about 5-10 minutes. Not worth it. Well, I've recently wised up and began just hanging out in my car, watching Netflix on my phone, laying down in the backseat. Don't I sound like a lousy bum?! Yes! I believe I do!

But before I get there, let's back up.

Monday night, Leia decided to have the pukes. Yes, the pukes. Amazingly, Jamie sleeps through it all, right up until I'm almost finished cleaning it off the carpet. Thanks, James. I tell him it's a gift that he can "sleep" (I call "ignore") right through her wake ups. He should teach me his ways. So her puke fest started around 3:57 in the AM. I didn't go back to sleep until about 5:45 ish. The alarm woke up at 6:15. Stellar. I was exhausted! I am not a big caffeine person, but sometimes...it's just needed! So, I was horribly, awfully, wonderfully BAD yesterday and I drove through the most ghettorific McDonald's by my school and got one of these babies...

Yes. A Mocha Frappe! And it was delicious! Just look at this face of delight:
Trust me. I don't do this all the time or I'd have to up my stretchy pants size. I get one of these like once every 2 or 3 months. They're my secret (now public) obsession! :)

Could I go without whipped cream on top? NO! Hecks naw! Well, they didn't have any made when I was there, so I waited for about 3 minutes. Then they upgraded me to a large, free of charge (love rhymes) WITH extra whipped cream! What a great morning it was turning out to be! So, I got my sugar and caffeine for the whole stinkin' week for goodness sakes...but it was well worth it. I was wide awake all day long :)

Break Time:

Like I mentioned up above. My breaks have been fairly eventless and boring, until I wised up and decided to take advantage of that hour to myself. Yesterday, I laid in the back seat and watched Netflix for about 35 minutes, then took about a 15 minute nap.

Here's how it went down:
Chillin' out maxin' in the back seat, all bundled in my coat since I didn't turn the car on to save gas. (You're welcome, Jamie!)

I'm not a Grey's Anatomy person, but I decided I'd watch a few episodes since they're on my Instant Netflix.

Quick snoozer:
It was glorious, and I highly intend on doing it from now on. I told my co teacher what I did during my break and she laughed out loud (LOL'd) and said she does the same thing every day! I love it! We're all on the same page!
