Rainy Day...Blah

Since today is a rainy day, I look like this:
This is a minimal make-up, air dry hair day! Those kids are gonna love me :)

Side Note:

I realize that I am not a parent, but I will not...I repeat...I WILL NOT allow my child to act like this or make public statements such as these on the news or anywhere else for that matter. What a stinkin' punk!

But really, parents...control your child! If that kid isn't good birth control for newlyweds not ready for children, I don't know what is!!

Newer Living Room:

Since we moved in, I've had this ugly blank wall over my couch. Not anymore, friends! Whoop whoop! Thanks to my incredible parents and in-laws, I've got a pretty wall.

Also, I've hated the mantle since I decorated it. It was too cluttered and looked like a 1st grade classroom. So here's the newer look:

Stinkin' flash! Much better, huh? Just call me "Martha"! Actually, I have ZERO artistic/decorative style, so avoid me at all costs if you need help decorating your home. I am no help whatsoever!

Morning Workout:

Kill me now! I woke up at 4:00 in the AM to work out! I went to the gym last night and every single person in Memphis Tennessee was there! There wasn't a single treadmill or elliptical available! I waited and waited. And waited. Then I practically ran to the next available treadmill and thanked the guy who got off, not caring about the gallon of sweat he left on the buttons :) But honestly, I'm always proud of the new years resolutioners ready to get back in the gym! Keep it up, folks! But my workout this morning was awesome and I'm D-O-N-E for the day! Yessss!

Allow Christ to be your shield today. Lean on Him. Seek His advice. Let Him take that painful and heavy weight off your shoulders, whatever you are carrying. He loves you more than you know.
