The next 48 hours are going to be rough. Really rough. Jamie has been doing a liquid diet off and on for the past month and a half. He's lost 15 pounds while doing it. On this diet, he drinks lots of Gatorade, smoothies, Muscle Milks, Icees, coffee and blended floats from Sonic. My hubby is a hottie and he looks really good!
Yesterday, Jamie told me that he didn't think I could make it a whole day on the liquid diet. Well, you can kiss it, my love, because I will make it. And I'll make it a whole 48 hours!
So this morning, I woke up ready to liquify my life for the next 2 days.
First thing this morning, I had a glass of Green Machine Naked Juice at 6:30 before my spin and weight training class:
I. Love. Naked Juice. This is a normal breakfast for me, but I usually accompany this with a handful of Cheerios or a whole wheat bagel or some sort of food. Not today. I went to my spin class and weights class and was thinking about how delicious a spoonful of peanut butter would be when I got home.
Instead, I sipped on 6 ounces of chocolate muscle milk:
It's actually pretty tasty, and I was really full after drinking that! I had my "shake" around 9:45 and honestly wasn't even hungry until around 1:00 or so. Great success

Handful of baby spinach:
5 fresh strawberries:
1/2 cup of non-fat strawberry yogurt:
1 frozen banana:
A few chunks of chopped mango:
A few chunks of pineapple:
A green smoothie:
That was very yummy and I incorporated fruits, veggies, dairy and protein all into one drink. At this point I'm thinking how yummy Goldfish would pair with this smoothie. Too bad.

Around 5:00, I was craving something sweet. I usually have low calorie hot chocolate mix in the cabinet ready to make, but I am all out. So I walked to our local Community Coffee and had hot chocolate as a snack:
I took Leia on an hour walk and then came home for "dinner" in the form of strawberry banana Naked Juice:
Day 1 of the liquid diet: done and done. 24 more hours until I can crunch something and eat actual food. This diet ain't so bad :)
