Cleaning House

I've been cleaning house and I look just like this:

Lies lies lies. Filthy lies. Yes, I HAVE been cleaning house, BUT, I do NOT dress like this when I clean. My attire looks more like this when I am cleaning around mi casa:

Pig Pen!!!

But really. Last Friday, I emptied out all of our closets and reorganized, goodwilled and situated everything. Oh it felt so good to get everything nice and neat in the closet! I got rid of 2 full garbage bags of clothes! GO ME!!! There were so many things I wanted to keep but I hadn't worn them in over a year. That's a clothing no no. No keeping clothes you haven't worn in a year. So the closet in our room now consists of my pants and all tops--shirts/sweaters/tanks/etc. The closet in the guest room has all of my skirts and dresses. I love organization! It makes me feel good!

Today, I put up all of our Halloween stuff and cleaned up our house a lot more. I'm trying to just make things nice and neat and clean. I'm annoyed at the clutter, and want to get rid of it. So I'm just going room to room and cleaning things up. Ahhh....I feel better!

This weekend, I'm going to Hobby Lobby with Sarah to find some fabric for our dining room chairs. I'm going to reupholster them, so they match our kitchen and look nicer :) Pumped for that! I'll post before and after pictures!

That's all for now. I'm still blowing and spitting green goblins out my nose and throat...eww gross. Maybe that'll stop sometime soon. Today was rather eventless, which is why this little blogger is boring and eventless. Lo siento.
