Christmas Movies

Today has been insane. I taught Kindermusik. I went to the gym. I had an important meeting to tell you about another time. I ate a speedy lunch at home. I taught more Kindermusik. I made a delicious dinner. I got caught up on Glee. I did 3 loads of laundry. I cleaned the kitchen. Now I'm watching the CMA's. (Carrie Underwood is such a hottie)!) Phew. I'm tired. And ready for the weekend.

But in my busy time, I was randomly thinking of Christmas movies. That's only natural, right? I watched the oh-so-cheesy "Babes in Toyland" with Drew Barrymore the other night, and loved every second!
But I was thinking about all of the Christmas movies I need to watch this season! I also got a little depressed, because Jamie and I don't have cable, so I won't get to watch all of the movies that I don't own that are on TV. I won't get to watch ABC Family's 25 days of Christmas!! I know I know...you're feeling sorry for me. But when I was eating a quick lunch, I looked up Christmas movies that I don't own and want to own! So now, I'm on a quest to own these movies! Good goal huh?!? Here are some of the candidates:
  1. All I Want for Christmas
  2. A Christmas Carol (the new animated one with Jim Carey)
  3. A Christmas Story (I know it's on for like 986 hours during the Christmas season, but I still want to OWN it!)
  4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (yet again, the newest one with Jim Carey)
  5. Miracle on 34th Street (the new one and the old one)
  6. All the classic ones like Frosty, Rudolph, Jack Frost, etc
  7. Home Alone 1 and 2
  8. I'll Be Home for Christmas (with JTT...what ever happened to him, by the way?)
  9. It's a Wonderful Life
  10. Jingle All The Way (yes, the one with Aaaaanold)
  11. Meet Me in St. Louis
  12. All of the classic Disney Christmas movies (ie: Mickey's Christmas Carol)
  13. Muppet Christmas Carol
  14. Any and all Lifetime Christmas movies (Those are classics, aren't they? Falalala Lifetime, anyone?)
  15. Prancer (I remember that movie used to make me cry when I was little. Yes, I've always been a sap)
  16. To Grandmother's House We Go
  17. White Christmas
  18. Holiday in Handcuffs (the one with Mario Lopez and Melissa Joan Hart)
  19. Snowglobe (super duper uper cheesy ABC Family movie!)

So anyways....my mind is obviously busy thinking of Christmas movies, and how I can accumulate all of the movies I don't already own. If you see any of these under like $8 anywhere, please tell me!

I hope you enjoyed reading this oh-so-very-pointless bloggette today :)

It made me happy just THINKING of these movies and the Holiday season!

Speaking of the Holiday season, I was reading my copy of Southern Living and found a recipe for Sweet Potato Pie with Marshmallow Meringue! Oooo baby! I need to find an excuse to make this pie! Who am I kidding? I'm just going to make this for kicks and giggles! Yay for sweet potatoes!

Love you all! Go back to doing something more important than reading my blabbering...
