Today has been insane. I taught Kindermusik. I went to the gym. I had an important meeting to tell you about another time. I ate a speedy lunch at home. I taught more Kindermusik. I made a delicious dinner. I got caught up on Glee. I did 3 loads of laundry. I cleaned the kitchen. Now I'm watching the CMA's. (Carrie Underwood is such a hottie)!) Phew. I'm tired. And ready for the weekend.
But in my busy time, I was randomly thinking of Christmas movies. That's only natural, right? I watched the oh-so-cheesy "Babes in Toyland" with Drew Barrymore the other night, and loved every second!
But I was thinking about all of the Christmas movies I need to watch this season! I also got a little depressed, because Jamie and I don't have cable, so I won't get to watch all of the movies that I don't own that are on TV. I won't get to watch ABC Family's 25 days of Christmas!! I know I know...you're feeling sorry for me. But when I was eating a quick lunch, I looked up Christmas movies that I don't own and want to own! So now, I'm on a quest to own these movies! Good goal huh?!? Here are some of the candidates:- All I Want for Christmas
- A Christmas Carol (the new animated one with Jim Carey)
- A Christmas Story (I know it's on for like 986 hours during the Christmas season, but I still want to OWN it!)
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas (yet again, the newest one with Jim Carey)
- Miracle on 34th Street (the new one and the old one)
- All the classic ones like Frosty, Rudolph, Jack Frost, etc
- Home Alone 1 and 2
- I'll Be Home for Christmas (with JTT...what ever happened to him, by the way?)
- It's a Wonderful Life
- Jingle All The Way (yes, the one with Aaaaanold)
- Meet Me in St. Louis
- All of the classic Disney Christmas movies (ie: Mickey's Christmas Carol)
- Muppet Christmas Carol
- Any and all Lifetime Christmas movies (Those are classics, aren't they? Falalala Lifetime, anyone?)
- Prancer (I remember that movie used to make me cry when I was little. Yes, I've always been a sap)
- To Grandmother's House We Go
- White Christmas
- Holiday in Handcuffs (the one with Mario Lopez and Melissa Joan Hart)
- Snowglobe (super duper uper cheesy ABC Family movie!)

I hope you enjoyed reading this oh-so-very-pointless bloggette today :)
It made me happy just THINKING of these movies and the Holiday season!
Speaking of the Holiday season, I was reading my copy of Southern Living and found a recipe for Sweet Potato Pie with Marshmallow Meringue! Oooo baby! I need to find an excuse to make this pie! Who am I kidding? I'm just going to make this for kicks and giggles! Yay for sweet potatoes!
Love you all! Go back to doing something more important than reading my blabbering...
