Good evening, all!
Today has been a great day. I don't work on Tuesdays, so I get a lot accomplished. I went to a new weight lifting class (ohmygah!) and walked the LuLu Bird, got Po' Boys for lunch with my beloved, finished laundry and hunted down a new vet for our baby girl.
I found the perfect vet here in Lafayette! When I called to make an appointment to come by today, they referred to Leia as "your baby" and I just loved that. They have around forty people on staff and everyone I spoke to was absolutely lovely. The reason I need to find a vet quickly is because we need to board her this weekend since Jamie and I are going to see my BIL (Kirby) play football at Dartmouth. Go Big Green!
This place was gorgeous! The room she'll be staying in is nice and big, and themed!!, has a comfy bed, her own little door to go outside to potty whenever she wants, and get this....her own TV! Crazy, huh? So, I think she'll do just fine.

Who is on Pinterest? I joined a while back but just now started getting into it. It's basically an online bulletin board where you can "pin" pictures, ideas, recipes and so much more to this "virtual bulletin board". I didn't get it at first and thought it was silly to be honest with you. That was until I started to get into it. It's a lot of fun and can be a tid bit addictive!

Let me reiterate that I am NOT preggo. But I DO love baby stuff, especially baby stuff with turtles, and I am rather tempted to buy this sweet outfit from ETSY for any future baby "Scho's" that I'll pop out one day.

At first glance, you might think that these shoes are a little bit geriatric, but I love them! I love clogs and any kind of "gum drop" slide-on shoes. I love me a good chunky heel and I just might have to purchase these for my b-day next month :)
That speaks true to me these days being the new kid all over again. I need not worry about impressing anyone except God, the Father. Once I finally make friends, I'll be sure to keep those who make me happy and love me for me.
