Fall Weather...for a day or so

Today was a great day. A beyond great day.

First of all, my day started off with this:
Not the crazy hair. Not the ear buds. Not the pink nose. But the jacket! My Chi O jacket that has been waiting patiently to be worn since this past Spring and Winter. I woke up and it was 45* outside. Whoop whoop! I went to the gym to de-sore myself...big time fail. I did weight lifting--hard core weight lifting--yesterday and I can barely walk this morning. No joke, it feels like I was beaten with a crowbar. I can't walk. I can't brush my hair. I can't dress myself. I can't sniff. I'm. In. Pain.

I digress.

After my unbelievably painful workout at the gym, I took Lulu on a walk in this glorious chilly weather. She...was not a fan. Her little body was shivering like crazy! I, however, love this weather! I love it so much that I whipped out the perfect Fall outfit:
Cotton dress, tights and boots. This is one of my favorite combos during the Fall season. A cotton dress, leggin's/tights and any type of boots. Ahh it's just the best! No sweating. Sunshine. Cool breeze. Perfection.

I also rocked this little guy today:
Why, hello Mr. Owl! You look sparkly today!

I'm a Mess...

With all of this happiness I've experienced with this beautiful weather and a great day at work, I've had kind of a pathetic evening. I remembered that Season 5 of Army Wives has been added to Instant Netflix, so that's what I've been watching most of my night. (Obviously, Jamie is out of town, because Lord know he wouldn't be watching this with me!) Well, I'm about four episodes into Season 5 and there was a tragedy. My face is swollen. My eyes are puffy. My cheeks are splotchy. I am a mess. I've been sobbing the past hour and I had to take an emotional break. So what did I do? I instantly YouTubed "American Idol Auditions". If you have never typed that into YouTube, finish this blog post and do that before you go to bed tonight. That is some good entertainment.

So, in my search of funny videos (since I was a blubbering mess), I found three videos that I'd like to share with you. Enjoy.

#1: Let My People Go

You know it's a good video when Randy covers his face and is laughing like a school girl!

#2: Farting Idol

Tooting is ALWAYS funny!

#3: Scat Girl

This is one of the older videos, but it is STILL one of my favorites! My favorite part is at about 2 minutes at the end of her song. Oh man, it's hilarious!

There really is no other reason to watch past the first auditions of American Idol. That's some good entertainment!

Well, I'm off to snuggle with my doggy since I'm taking her to the vet to drop her off for the weekend. We need to get in some ample snuggle time :)

Love you guys! Nighty night!
