No Show

Anytime I get a call from the appointment center saying that an agent wants to bring a client to see our house, I am radiating with giddiness! I'm sure whoever calls thinks that I'm a certified WaCkO!! Which I am. So, I do what I do every time and I haul Leia out of the house and drive around in this blazing heat, sweating my ears off. The agent and their client was supposed to be here from 2:30-3:30, so we drive around for about 40 minutes and then we came back. The lights were all still on, which means they probably haven't been by yet. I put Leia back in the car and we drove to PetSmart to look at their Pet Hotel, since we'll be out of town in a few weeks. I came back at 3:30 ish and the lights were still on. I walked inside and my beautifully vacuumed home was still nicely vacuumed. No footprints. I called the appointment agency and she called the agent. No answer. They were no shows!!! How stinkin' rude is that?! I was and still am a little heated, but oh well. Nothin' I can do.

Last night, Jamie and I had a healthy and fatty date night. We decided to ride our bikes like little school kids to the Back Yard Burger about a mile and a half away for dinner. What a fun idea! WE took a detour through the golf course for a more scenic route. As we were eating dinner, I noticed this homeless man walking towards our bikes. His eyes were locked on the bikes. When he was about 30 feet away, he picked up his step and started walking really quickly to our bikes. Jamie's back was to him so he couldn't see. I saw the whole thing. I said kind of nervously, "Uhh, Babe." Jamie saw him making a mad dash towards our bikes and he stood up so that the guy could see him. He kind of backed up and smiled at us. Then he came in a asked us for some money! Really?! It was pretty crazy and I was shaking like a maraca. After we thankfully didn't get our bikes stolen, we finished our burgers and rode on over to Sonic about another mile away. At some ice cream then headed home. Fabulous date! And I think our bike riding cancelled out the cheeseburger, fries and ice cream. Right? I wish.

Today, I went to the gym, cleaned up the house and then saw the Glee 3D movie! It felt like I was there! I was laughing and dancing in my seat a little bit and loved every second. I felt like I should be clapping and cheering. But I quickly remembered we were in a theater. Luckily my friend Tori went with me so I didn't have to go alone. She's a Gleek, too! My mama is coming in town next weekend, so we are going to see Glee again and The Help. So stoked! I highly recommend this movie to everyone!

Funny Video Friday:

I'm going to resurrect funny videos on Friday. They make me happy and I know you get a good chuckle out of them too! Happy Friday! Love you!
