My BIL is in Town!!

My dear BIL--brother in law--Kirby is in town this weekend! Whoop whoop! The last time we saw Kirbo was when we visited him at Dartmouth. Jamie picked him up from the airport while I was at work, and they ate a big Cajun buffet at Landry's. They came back to our apartment and immediately played some Modern Warfare 3. Go figure. It's good to see brothers reunited :) Their relationship makes me want to have boys one day.

Tonight, we tried out a new restaurant in town called Cochon.
It's a very nice restaurant right on the Vermillion River. Gorgeous atmosphere! My manager Cindy asked us what we were up to this weekend and I told her we had no definite plans, so she suggested that we go to Cochon. He's the best part: She told us that she had a $100 gift certificate that she was happy to give us so that we could try it out! How sweet is she?! So I took it and was wildly thankful for her gift :) It was really delicious.

We enjoyed boudin and fried alligator for our appetizer. Jamie got some pork patty thing, I got smoked chicken with pumpkin risotto and Kirby branched out and got rabbit and dumpling stew. Everything was very tasty! Thank you, Cindy for being so generous!

I made the boys take pictures after din din. Jamie and Kirbo...both smiling very fake:
Look how they stand. Just alike! Their arms are in the same place too! They're so similar!

Me and my beloved:

It was a gorgeous night out, but now the boys are playing video games and we're about to nom on some chocolate chip cookie pie that is baking in the oven, making our apartment smell absolutely delightful! I bet we'll enjoy some dessert and watch last night's Christmas Office episode. Perfect night.

Funny Video Friday

I saw this cute video on my sweet friend, Hayley's, Facebook this morning and I died! This boy is precious and I think his rapping is much better than most of the hoodlums out there! Enjoy!

Love and hugs to you all!!
