Ideas for Austin

Not only is it almost Christmas, but on December 27th, Jamie and I are going to Austin, TX for a little vacay!! Jamie gave me a vacation for my birthday, and I have always wanted to go to Austin, so that's where we're going, by golly! We talked about DisneyWorld, a cruise, California, and several other places, but I just wanted to take it easy and do something fairly simple. So we're driving to Austin on the 27th and are staying for a few days. I can hardly wait!

Do you all have any ideas for us when we get there?! Restaurants, spas, hole in the wall yummys, shopping, hot spots...anything?

I'd love any and all ideas for a fun Austin vacation. Touristy or not :) Thanks!

Until then, I'm not sure when I'll be bloggifying again. I leave for B-Ville right after work tomorrow--around 2:00 in the afternoon. And we won't even get back until the 1st day of January, I think. I'll try to get on, but I just might be having too much fun to let you know about it!! But I am charging my camera battery as I type this, so I promise I'll have pictures for you :)
