Christmas Movies Galore

One of the best parts about the Holiday season is the Christmas movies. Duh. I watch a LOT of Christmas movies from about Thanksgiving until...well...until I finish them all. Sadly, Jamie and I have opted out of cable since we've been married, and have chosen to use Hulu+ and Netflix (saves us a bundle!!!). That being said, I miss out on the joys of ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas and Lifetime's Falalala Lifetime. I know I know, whoa is me! So I have to make up for it by watching every Holiday movie/show on Netflix and Hulu and also watch my collection.

These are the movies that I still need to watch this Holiday season:
All fabulous movies, no? I think the next movie I watch will be Jim Carey's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". One of my favorites. I still need to save several of those for the drive to and from Oklahoma this week. So excited!

Here are the movies that I have already watched this season:
Embarrassing, no? I've watched A LOT of movies. But please factor in that most of those were watched over Thanksgiving during our 20 hours in the car! No judging. I watched "The Christmas Shoes" yesterday and oh my sweet mercy...I. was. a. mess. A total and complete wreck! I wept like a child and ugly cried. And you want to know the worst part? Jamie was there to witness it. He watched a little bit of it with me, but only because I was scratching his back. He thought I was ridiculous and rightly so...I was. So I'll need to lighten up the Christmas mood by watching something silly before work.

I gave Jamie an early Christmas present yesterday. Since we've been married, we typically only get each other one item, and it's never really big. We like to spend our money on going out to eat or going on fun vacations (more on that tomorrow). But I already got his gift and it is wrapped nicely under the tree. But I saw one more thing at the gym yesterday, and I just HAD to get them.
Any guesses on what those are?

BOXERS! How cute are those?!? You put them in water and then they expand into regular size boxers. I love them and think they're too cute! I wrapped a pretty red bow around it and gave it to Jamie yesterday. He was pretty excited :)

In other news...

Jamie and I conducted an experiment yesterday. Starting at 6:30 AM, we timed Leia to see how much she sleeps in a 24 hour period. I don't work on Mondays, so this was the perfect day to do it.
That dog snoozes a lot.
When I'm making the bed, she tries to snooze on the pillows.
In the car, she finds a comfy place to take a nap.
On the couch, she'll nuzzle her way into the blankets and cushions until she's content.
Out like a light.
If I wake her up, she gives me the, "Beeeeyotch. Why you gotta be wakin' me up?" look!?
Her tiny, 15 pound body even takes up most of our queen sized bed.
Snoozin' with daddy.
Little Miss Muffet sits on her tuffet.
After I make the bed, she'll wiggle her way into the pillows. All 13 of them.
Rarely does she actually sleep in her perfectly comfy bed that her Grammy Lana bought her for her first birthday.
You want to know the results of our experiment? Leia Lu Schoenthaler slept for approximately 18 hours, 1 minute and 43 seconds.

That child is livin' the dream.

Merry Christmas from sleepy Lulu! She loves you!
