Hallow's Eve!!!

Happy Hallow's Eve, everyone!

If you've ever seen Hocus Pocus, you know there's a lot of "Hallow's Eve" talk on there. LOVE that movie! Yet again, that was a movie I was not allowed to see for a while, until I fully understood that witches are fake, and this is simply a fun Halloween movie. So, take note...if you are a mommy, be careful with what your little ones watch during the Halloween season:)

My Little Tostito:
Ever since Leia Lu was a yittle puppy gog, I have called her my "Little Tostito" because her paws smell like a tostito chip. Especially when she is sleeping or has just woken up. She smells yummy and warm and just like a tostito chip. All we need is a side o' salsa!

Anyways, last night, Jamie and I looked up why puppy paws smell yummy, and there is something called "Frito Feet" with goggies! It's simply their sweat smell. Read this article to find out more. Tonight, if you have a little pup, smell their cute toesies to see if it smells like a warm tostito or frito feet! I'm not crazy after all!

My little cuddle buddy and her "Frito Feet":
Oh how I love my little Leia Lu Hoo:
My Favorite New Costume!!!:
This precious cutie pa tootie is a boy that I teach, and yesterday he was dressed up as a computer virus! How precious is he?! When I took this picture, he was busy looking at himself in the big screen TV that was sitting on the floor. He couldn't quite get enough of himself :) But I just loved this sweet little costume!
New Kicks:
I got some new kicks today! I've been wearing Nike Shocks for the past year and they're fine and all but my least favorite tennies by far. I've worn them for almost a year and they STILL hurt my feet. I realize that I have chubbo feets, but there's no need for that! So, my sweet Mother-in-Law, Kim told me to go get some new running shoes for an early birthday present so that I can start wearing them to train in for my 5K coming up in December. I love them and am excited to try them out this week! Today, I went on 2 long walks and went to the gym to get a feel for my new kicks :) Thank you, Kim! I love them already! Here they are:
Today, Jamie and I had Syrup Saturday with pancakes and strawberries, then we lazied around, then we went to the mall to get my shoesies, then I went on a walk, then we went to the gym, then I did some laundry and cleaned up around here, then I walked another 2 miles, then I showered, then we went to dinner (which I'll tell you about in a sec), and now, I'm sitting here on the couch, and Jamie and BJ are playing Halo, and I'm doing more laundry and organizing Kindermusik stuff and watching Netflix movies...and this is the longest run on sentence ever! Whew!

Dinner tonight was OUTSTANDING! We went to this Mexican place called La Tortugas, and it was authentic and amazing! We both got fish tacos and it was fresh fish with corn tortillas, fresh avocado and cilantro, lettuce, salsa and green sauce. So. Yummy. If you live here or are visiting here, it is a definite winner! It's on Germantown Parkway, across the street from the big Chick Fil A. Go and enjoy!

Tomorrow, we have a Sunday school breakfast and I am making Pioneer Woman's Coffee Cake. All you Kanakuk people out there, this recipe tastes just like the Sunday coffee cake recipe that you get at Kamp! The first time I made it, all of these amazing Sunday Kamp memories sped through my mind! So tasty! Try it out sometime, because it's delish.

I best get to my organizing duties now. Enjoy your Saturday evening and give yourself a big hug and pretend it's from me! Love you!
