WICKED and The New "Do"

Last night, Jamie and I had the PERFECT date night! So much fun! We started our night off by going to Red Fish for SUSHI!!!! Yesss! I haven't had sushi in foreva! So I got a couple delicious rolls and Jamie got sesame chicken. Yum. Then we went to Barnes and Noble to find a bible study book for me and Jamie to begin reading. Jamie wandered off to look at his stuff and I got sidetracked and super emotional reading Steven Curtis Chapman's book, Cinderella. I cried like a little girl in a corner, reading this short little book. My dad and I danced to that song at my wedding and I still cry when I think about my sweet daddy because he's the greatest dad in the world! Love you, Dooda!

Jamie and I settled on a Beth Moore bible study that is a 90 day study on the Life of John. Honestly, I just don't know a TON about the people in the bible and as a Christian that is my job. I am obligated as a follower of Christ to know His Word much better than I do. So hopefully this book will help me out. Plus, Beth Moore is just outstanding and everything I've ever read of her's is just inspiring!

WICKED!!!

Tonight, I am going to Wicked at the Orpheum Theater with Sarah and Jenny and ooooo buddy am I excited or what!?! This will be like the 5th time I've seen this show and it is by far my very favorite! I'm so pumped! We're eating dinner at J. Alexander first and then heading to the show. I'm still undecided on what I'm wearing, which is super important by the way :) So anyhoo, I'll let you know how the show goes tomorrow. Can't wait!

My New Hair Cut:

Remember a few weeks ago, when I told you I had big news? And that big news was that I'm chopping off my hair! Many of you punks thought my big news was that I'm preggers. Yeah right, suckas! That wouldn't be big news. That would be HOLY MOLY OMG YIPES FREAK ME OUT WHOA NEWS!!! So...wait for that post, my dear friends.

So these were some of the cuts that I loved and tried to mock when I chopped my hair a few weeks ago:

Before the big reveal, look at this gorgeoso tree in my back yard! Isn't it the perfect tree!? It's even prettier in real life. So you should come visit so you can see it...and me!

NEW HAIR!!! Sorry for the freaky bang in front and my face and my splotchy eyes...this was taken after our date last night, after I cried my little eyes out reading the sweet Cinderella book :) But I love my short hair and it feels much more "me". 8 inches off and a new short do...I'm a happy lady!

Today, I am going to church, working out then going to dinner and Wicked with the ladies! Yesss! Can't wait!
