Gorgeous Day! Thank You, Jesus!

So, I went on my daily walk/run and oh mercy...it is a stunning day outside!!! I stayed outside for an extra 25 minutes or so, because it was so gorgeous outside! The whole time I was out, I was just thinking, "Thank you, Jesus for giving us a break on 102 degree weather!" As of now, it's only 89 degrees out! Bring out the jackets!!! Here is proof of this stunning day! Look at those awesome clouds! My God is quite the artist to create such a pretty picture for me!


On my walk, I met a friend. I think he is a yellow lab, but he was lost, or just out wandering around, and we became friends, much to my sensitive nose's dismay. I would have brought him home, but he didn't have a tag. So I have made a decision that little Leia Lu is getting a tag on her collar TODAY! I gave this stranger dog a name: Oscar. Like Oscar the Grouch. Not that he was a mean or grumpy dog, but he sure did smell like he's been living in the garbage can his whole life. Oh man, I scrubbed my hands like crazy once i got home. So anyway, he followed me for about 30 minutes until he found another lady and her dog out. Yessss! Here is Oscar:
After my workout, I was exhausted and feeling rather weak. Occasionally, I'll make a protein shake, but I wasn't feeling it. So, I remembered reading once that chocolate milk is sometimes a better substitute for protein shakes or workout drinks and those other expensive things to eat/drink pre/post workout. That proves that I'm not making it up. Plus, I LOVE LOVE LOVE chocolate milk! Skim milk + sugar free chocolate syrup= a delicious post workout beverage! Don't mind my ucky sweatiness, but please notice how happy this sweet drink makes me :)

Later today, if it's not raining, I may go to this outdoor shopping area in Collierville...I think that's where it is. I know how to get there, just not sure what town it's in. I still get lost here :) It's such a nice day out, so a little window shopping is for sure in order. And I'm leaving the cash and credit card here as to not tempt myself to purchase anything that I just have to have! Then I'm going to PetCo to get Leia a tag. Even though she's practically a cat because she's indoors so much, you never know when she'll decide to get adventurous and sneak out the back gate!! Rather be safe than sorry! Then I'll get some stuff cleaned up around here. Leftover BBQ nachos for din din and watch a little Prison Break with my cute hubster. That's our new favorite show, by the way :) Have a great day!
