Friday morning was a great (and yummy) one. I woke up early, thanks to an early rising body clock, and started on breakfast. My mom made orange cinnamon rolls, we chopped up some fruit, and I made a fabulous sausage biscuit and cream cheese casserole. So yummy! And good for you...lies. It's awful for you, but it sure is tasty! Here's the link: Sausage Biscuit and Cream Cheese Casserole. I highly recommend making it for family and friends. Yum.
After breakfast digested a little bit, we headed down to the beach to walk around a bit with Angela and Jon.
Gorgeous beach! The waves were fairly big and sounded beautiful. I actually love it when it's really chilly while walking on a beach. There's something about wearing a sweat shirt, walking barefoot in the sand with the wind blowing. I don't know, I just love it.
My hubby found an armadillo crab!!
It's actually called a horseshoe crab, but I like armadillo crab better. It was huge. And dead, so no worries.
Jamie also got all adventurous and ignored the "CAUTION" signs to get a net:
Loving being on the beach:
Still happy:
Not quite sure what he was hoping to find, but he was on an aimless mission with that net:
Jumping over very cold waves:
How cute is he?
Answer? Very cute.
I like us:

Jamie made a stick figure:
The next picture was mildly inappropriate, so I deleted it...sorry James...
After a while, we headed to Poe's Tavern for some burgers. Really yummy burgers. Theres' something fabulous about a really yummy cheeseburger. I just love 'em.
The guys and gals split paths and we headed to Charleston for massages while the boys did some historical things.
Massage > History
I got a prenatal massage and there was a padded hole in the bed:
I hadn't laid down on my tummy in months! It was glorious beyond glorious!!
I mean, look at this face of pure satisfaction:
Greasy hair and all, I was happy. And relaxed. I think another prenatal massage is in my future. It's for the baby, of course.
We walked around the shops for a bit after our massages, but then headed back to the house to relax for a bit.
That night, we had dinner reservations for a yummy Italian place called Il Cortile. It was some really good food, and I slurped mine down rapidly (what's new?).
The only down side to dinner....the most annoying and obnoxiously loud waiter ever!!! I wish he had a volume knob, because I would have turned his noise level down about 28.6 notches. But the food was incredibly delicious!
Dessert included Oreos back at the house as you can tell in Jamie's teeth:
Thanks, James, for the pretty Oreo-toothed picture. Always classy.
Mama decided to photo bomb this one with a "you're getting nothing for Christmas" smile:
And then she decided she loves me and smiled for the camera:
And here is the nicest smile I've gotten out of James all weekend thus far:
Look at that cute smile when he actually decides to be precious!!
Friday night, we were all pretty beat, so we just hung out in the living room, watching TV for a while before heading to bed.
Again, thank you, Mama and Dooda, for a FABULOUS vacation! But wait! It's not over! Come back to see what we did on our final day in Charleston!
Love y'all!
