Wednesday...another fabulous day in Tulsa.
Started off at the gym and then I met my sweet friend, Ashley, for coffee at Utica Square:
Ashley and I were Early Childhood Education students at OSU and we took our final two years of classes together, and we even student taught together in a Kindergarten classroom in Perry, OK. She is now a mommy to sweet Kinsley and has one on the way due later this Fall!! I love and miss my Ashley so very dearly and was so grateful to get to catch up! Love you, Ash!
Wednesday afternoon, I met my mom, Aunt Debbi, Aunt Leslie, Cousin Emma and my Grandma Betty at Olive Garden (or the salad house, as Papa calls it) for some lunch. After lunch, I ran home and took a quick snooze, and then my mom and I met some of her friends for dinner before heading to the theater!
We met Cindy, Nancy and Nancy at Te Kei's before we headed to the Tulsa PAC to see Jersey Boys. I was super stoked to see the show, but we ended up leaving at Intermission. My mom wasn't feeling well, and I just didn't love the show. The language was thick and a little much for me. Not a fan of foul language being repeated over and over again. Gets a little old.
The music was cute and well done, but I just didn't love the show enough to stick around for another two hours. Sorry, Jersey Boys. Not my favorite.
Wednesday was another fun day. Loved seeing Ashley, my family and my mama's friends. Loved trying out a new Broadway musical (even if it was a bust). Loved Wednesday.
Welp, now Jamie and I are watching a cheesy horror flick--"Fear Island"--we found it on Netflix and thought we'd give it a go. It reminds me of Harper's Island. Cheesy, predictable, one-by-one murders...it's entertaining :)

Everyone I've talked to who has seen the show loves it too and said it was worth paying the regular price to see it, so $20 is a steal. Guess I'll plan on going if I am still able to get those tickets next week.
