Okay this is dragging out way too long...
Saturday. I woke up. Next to Jamie. (Still so stoked he visited me!!!!) And Leia. Worked out. Got ready. Played with the cats. Same ol' same ol' at the Ervin casa.
Jamie, my parents and I then met a very special little lady at Ted's for some yummy Mexican food...MY BIG!!!
Oh how I love my dearest Bigity Big Face! I love her so very dearly! Kendall is my Chi Omega big sister and she and I suicide preffed each other when I was a Freshman at OSU. What that means is, when we had to write down our top five choice of who we wanted as a Big/Little, we only wrote down each other's names without knowing that either of us were doing that. We were bound and determined to be united. Ahh...Chi Omega love. That's what we have. LOVE YOU, BIG!!! So glad I got to see you! Now we have to plan your Louisiana visit. I'm already planning your trip. I'm thinking a canoe trip to get in some gator sightings. Maybe a gator park. Maybe zip lining. Shopping in Baton Rouge. Our options are endless! Can't wait!
That afternoon, my mama and I went to Target to do some pre-surgery shopping. By the way, she's doing really well! She has to exercise her leg for six hours a day--two hours at a time--with this little machine, and she is doing really well. She is still pretty nauseated because of all of her meds, so please be praying that goes away. It's just wearing her out. Plus, she's soooooo bored!!! She sits in bed for most of the day because that's where she ices her leg and does her machine exercises. She'll walk around the house for about an hour a day, but she's just bored. She started physical therapy today and she really likes her therapist. Keep the prayers coming. Greatly needed and appreciated :) Love y'all!
Saturday night, my family headed to Bartlesville for a party that some of the Schoenthaler's friends were throwing. Jamie's family didn't know he was in town (heck, I didn't even know he was in town!!!), so he was an unbelievable surprise when we arrived to the party :)
Me and my cute honey at the party:
My dad, Meme, Papa, Jamie and my mom, relaxing at the party:
Meme (Kim's mama), and Marty (my father-in-law):
Two of the greatest people I know :)
My sweet sister-in-law, Camie:
So glad I got to see you, my dear! Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday!! Kirby, you were greatly missed! Can't wait to see you at the end of July!
Me and Jamie--Jamie with a pretty smile:
Skinny armed Abby, and grumpy faced Jamie:
LOVED seeing so many sweet Bartlesville friends :) I hadn't seen most of them since my wedding three years ago! What a joy!
Sunday morning, my family met Jamie's family at Panera Bread for a quick breakfast before Jamie and I headed back home to Louisisna. Gosh, I forgot how much I love their bagels :) Long nine hour drive. Happy to be home :) Loved my time in Oklahoma and I loved that I got to see so many sweet friends and family members. Love y'all so very dearly!
Sidenote: My new favorite show is Extreme Makeover: Weightloss Edition. I absolutely love incredible weight loss stories. There's so much more to someone gaining weight than just eating and not exercising. It's so much more emotional and mental more than anything, and I love that this show helps people understand the real reason behind most people's obesity problems. I weep every time, and just love how inspiring this show is! And Chris is adorable :)
Alrighty, Jamie gets out of class in a couple hours and then we will be Thundering Up in Lafayette!!! Whoop Whoop!!! (By the way, when the Heat's fans cheer "Let's go Heat!", it sounds like they're screaming "S.O.B."!!....anyone else think that?) GO THUNDER!
