Best. Season. Ever.

If you've been following this blog over the past year-ish or so, you know fully well that I adore the Fall season. I am automatically much happier and the joy I have inside of me comes bursting out!

In case you need a reason to love Fall, here are a few reasons:
  • Gorgeous colors
  • Crunchy leaves
  • Cooler weather
  • Cotton dresses and Leggings
  • Boot-wearing weather
  • Football games
  • Bonfires
  • Hot tea in the morning
  • Pumpkin everything
  • Halloween
  • Thanksgiving
  • My birthday
Bottom line. I love Fall. Welcome back, Autumn. You've been missed. Speaking of Autumn, I've decided I like that name for a baby. (No I'm not preggers.) I think my obsession/love for the Fall season makes me like the word/name Autumn even more. Autumn Schoenthaler. Kind of hippie-ish. Kind of fun. Meh. We'll see. I've got plenty of time to ponder future baby names.

Eating through the pantry...

For the past few weeks, I've been trying my darndest to eat what's in our pantry and fridge so that we don't have to move as much food to Lafayette. Heaven forbid I throw any of it away!!

So here's what I've been having for lunch most days:
Kettle corn and a pink lady apple. It's actually quite tasty, but getting a smidge old. This little lady loves popcorn, though!
But her popcorn eating days are over because she puked it up a few days ago. Dog-puked-popcorn is not fun to clean up. Trust me.

Second Wind

Tonight, I had this supernatural burst of energy come over me. I popped on some Shane and Shane on my Pandora playlist and got to working. It is now 1:12 AM as I type this and I am still wide awake and ready to go! I packed up a few more boxes and found a treasure.

For mine and Jamie's one year anniversary (of dating), I wrote down 365 things that I love about him. I could have written 1,365 things, but that wouldn't have made much sense. I cut them all up and put them in a little basket:
I found a few that made me smile.

This one may be my favorite:
He really is the most bestest (yes, I realize that incorrect grammar) friend I've ever had. He's been there for me in the ups and downs, and joys and sorrows, the laughter and tears and so much more! I just adore him and am so thankful that he is not only an incredible husband but a phenomenal friend. Love you, Jamie!

This one is really important:
That is still true today. Jamie is an incredibly valuable person in my life and I take great pride in all that he is and everything he does. I'm so proud of him and can't thank him enough for all he does for us.

All you Wifeys out there....do you value your honey? Do you appreciate him? We can't ever say it enough, but I encourage you to make sure your husband knows how much you value him. Tell him today how much you appreciate everything he does for you and get specific. Guys like verbal affirmation too, ya know? :)

Whoops! How did this one get in there!!
I do like his tush. Let's just be honest with ourselves.

Randomness....I bought new sunglasses this week. Mine went totally MIA and I wear them all the time! So, off to Target I went with Emily to get me some new shades:
The bigger and buggier, the better! I so could have lived in the '70's!

Not a happy camper...

In other news, I finished this blasted Mickey puzzle! But....look closely...
Uh huh. That's right. One piece. One piece out of 1,026 pieces is missing.

Here's what I did for about twenty minutes looking for that little jerk:
Crawling on the floor, hunting for that very important puzzle piece. Granted, this puzzle has lived in three homes now...chances that the piece is somewhere in Stillwater or in a landfill is pretty high. Dang.

I'm not above going to Wal Mart, buying a new puzzle and finding that one piece to complete the puzzle! Don't you dare put it past me, because I'm fully capable of going in crazy mode to finish the darn thing. We've got movers coming on Monday and you best believe that they'll be briefed on the missing puzzle piece and to be on the lookout! A reward might be out there for the finder of the missing piece!

Alrighty. It's 1:24 in the A.M. and Leia Lu has been such a good puppy dog waiting for mama to settle down and get sleepers. We're off to bed. Hope you all have had a FABULOUS first day of Fall. Love you guys!
