Stupid Insanity

Date Night:

Last night, my beloved and I went on a date. We went to J. Alexander's for dinner, and it was soooo delish! I got the fish tacos and Jamie got chicken fingers. I give both entrees an "A", because they were just perfect! Especially Jamie's French fries! It's always fun to get out of the routine and go on a fancy date every once in a while :) After that, we drove around some fancy neighborhoods, looking at gigantorm houses! Woooweee they were incredible! These homes had like an extra kitchen in the backyard with tennis courts and stuff! Wowzers! Maybe one day we'll be there....especially with my wicked awesome teaching salary! (ummm....right.) We headed home to de-full ourselves before getting ice cream and I walked LuLu. Them we got fro yo at TCBY. Perfect night!

Insanity:

So, remember how I told you that I'm doing Insanity? Well...I don't have the schedule yet for the order of DVD's I should be doing, so I just grabbed one to try. Holy fitness, Batman!!!! Apparently, I grabbed the workout that you do at the end of the month or something. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. I got through 16 minutes. There were 12 minutes left. And I quit. I stopped. I bailed. I jumped ship. I choked. I blew it. I came to a complete halt!! It was rather disappointing, but my body physically couldn't take anymore. If you're pondering starting Insanity, I would start working out asap and get in decent shape. Like really decent shape. And then you can consider starting Insanity. I am an avid worker-outer and am in semi-decent shape. I need to get my butt in gear before getting semi-good at Insanity. It's kick butt! Here is a little commercial:

Who steals shoes?

I was at DSW today (one of my top favorite shoe places ever!) buying some shoes for Jamie for his birthday, and I witnessed an attempted burglary!! This family consisting of 2 men, one woman and a little boy *insert gasp* seemed as though they tried to make it out of the store with a pair of shoes. One. Pair. of shoes. Who steals just one pair?!? Anyhoo, 3 Germantown cops come in to assess the situation after an undercover cop called it in. Busted, suckas!!! This undercover cop was a woman dressed in normal clothes shopping for flip flops. Gotcha! They all got frisked. Their bags got searched. Their cars got searched. They were questioned. (even the little youngin'). It was a pretty big no big deal. It was exciting for little ol' me, but at the same time, I live in Memphis, Tennessee for goodness sakes! Go deal with some real crime!!

This afternoon, I've just been shopping a little bit and buying fruit (Pink Lady apples...yummo) and some of our pals are coming over to play with us tonight. Grown up play dates are the best :) But, I must take care of my boy toes first! Still haven't painted them and it's been like 3 days. So unlike me!
