Peabody Photoshoot + A Baby Shower

It was a fantastic weekend with my in-laws! Absolutely wonderful :) Third time was a charm getting them here!

But let's start with some berries:

Strawberries are some of my most favorite food in the whole world, but during the off berry season, I don't buy them, because a thing of strawberries is over $5.00. Not kidding. Ridiculous, I know. But for the past 2 weeks, these deluxe little berries were 2 for $5!!! Whoop whoop! So naturally, you can guess what I'm bringing back for part of my breakfast...

Weekend with Jamie's Fam:

Yesterday, we started off our day with separating--girls and boys. Kim and I looked at patio furniture and got pedis (I got red, Kim got coral), and the boys went to Best Buy and some outdoor store. Then we met up for some BBQ at Corky's (delicioso!). Then we went to Jamie's store and drove past my school. Then we went downtown and walked around for a while. I really do like downtown Memphis. There's always good people watching and fun music playing. When it's a beautiful day out, like yesterday, it makes it all that more enjoyable :)

We headed to The Peabody to see the cute little ducks in the fountain, and then had a little photo shoot on top of the historic hotel.

After our photo shoot, we walked around some more and then enjoyed and elegant/meaty dinner at Texas de Brazil....mmm mmm good! That's really all I have to say about that. Kim and I headed to the mall after that and were rather unsuccessful. I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding Jamie is in in a few weeks, but there just isn't much out. I think fashion is in between seasons right now. I'll probably find something here. Goodness knows I have plenty of dresses to choose from :)

My in-laws headed out this morning and made it back to B-Ville safely, praise Jesus! That's along drive and I'm grateful they made it! Ready for more visitors! Friends, come visit me!!!

Holly's Baby Shower:

My friend from church, Holly, is preggo and due in April. She is the cutest preggo in the world and I can't wait to meet her schweet baby Warren! The newlywed class at my church had a shower for her today and it was so much fun! She got lots of goodies like baby drugs, toys, clothes, diapers and more! So so fun! I only took 2 pics, but 2 are better than none, right?!

Tonight, I'm relaxing, laundering and taking a bubble bath. TMI? Yeah, probably. I like bubble baths, okay?!?! Hope you've had a great weekend! Back to the real world tomorrow...lame-o.
