Happy Christmas from Us to You!

Merry Christmas, Everybody!!!!

I hope you all are having a blessed Holiday and that you are spending it with family, friends, loved ones, and so on, and that you are relaxing and experiencing great joy during this wonderful season!

I've had an excellent Christmas thus far! Let me start off by telling you all of the Christmas movies I've watched since Thanksgiving:
  1. Meet Me in St. Louis
  2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  3. The Holiday
  4. Home Alone 1
  5. Home Alone 2
  6. The Muppet Christmas Carol
  7. I'll be Home for Christmas
  8. Holiday in Handcuffs
  9. Jingle All The Way
  10. All I Want for Christmas
  11. Snow Globe
  12. Christmas Vacation
  13. The Santa Claus
  14. A Charlie Brown Christmas
  15. It's a Wonderful Life (watching that now)
And I'm not even finished yet! I still have several to go! What a great Christmas!

Yesterday, Jamie and I woke up and just relaxed all day. I cleaned and cooked and laundered and watched movies and worked out...it was just a great day! Then Jamie and I went to Bellevue for the Christmas Eve service. It was really nice and only 30 minutes! Bonus! For dinner, I made Pioneer Woman's pot roast and crescent rolls and chocolate chess pie. I got that recipe from my sweet friend, Sarah Berryhill! It's delicious, Sarah!!!

Here are some pictures from last night:

Scrooge Jamie allowed the two of us to open just 1 gift on Christmas Eve, and this was the gift I chose:
There's the gift Jamie chose:
And that's the gift Leia chose:
Leia loves Christmas! All new toys and bones:
First gift on Christmas Eve....MY FIRST PAIR OF TOMS!!!!! Thanks, Kim and Marty! I think this is the beginning of an obsession. My dad has like 8 pair. I think I need several more as well. Friends and family, I wear a size 6 or 6.5 if you'd like to add to my new Toms collection!:
This morning, Jamie and I woke up around 7:45 and stayed in bed til a little after 8:00 playing with Leia and trying to wake up :) Then, I couldn't take it anymore! Like a little kid, I ran outa bed, made myself a cup of tea and we started opening gifts! We opened the gifts that we got for each other first. And then we opened the gifts from Jamie's family.

Leia got more toys and bones:
I got Jamie a hunter green Columbia fleece and a Bass Pro magnet:
Jamie got me a crock pot!!! Woo hoo! I've been wanting a medium size crock pot!:
Aunt Camie got Leia a little stuffed animal toy...sorry Cam...she's already bitten off an arm:
It's been a great Christmas! Today, Jamie and I will relax, watch more Christmas movies, go work out, have some left overs and then drive around tonight looking at Christmas lights. Tomorrow night, my parents get in town to celebrate Christmas with us! Woo hoo! So excited!!! They haven't come to visit yet, so I'm STOKED for them to get here!

Merry Christmas everyone! Remember the Reason for the Season is Jesus Christ. Read about His miraculous birth and the beautiful story that occurred that night here.

Love you guys! Hope Santa was good to you and that you got a few goodies today :)
