Choosing to SEE

Choosing to SEE:
2 days ago, I started Mary Beth Chapman's book, Choosing to SEE. It's an outstanding book about how she was choosing to see God through the devastating times in her life, especially the loss of her daughter, Maria, in 2008. I read this while the kids are down for a nap, and yesterday I just wept like a child! One of the girls sleeping next to me woke up yesterday and asked, "Miss Abby, why you so sad?" I said, "I'm reading a really sad and sweet book about how awesome Jesus is." Her response, "Yeah...I like Jesus too," and then she fell back asleep. How cute is she!? Anyways, I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. MBC writes with real, raw, genuine emotion and she shows how truly awesome our Father is! No matter what we go through in life, we should make the choice to SEE God through those times! He is sovereign and good and is worthy of our praise!
