Sunday School Baby Shower

The second baby shower in my four weekend showers was hosted by my parents' Sunday School class. My dad has been a teacher in this class for 30 ish years (I believe), and the men and women in this class have been outstanding--in prayer, in support, in love, in friendship and just being a church family. Some of the ladies in that class hosted wedding showers for both me and my sister and now they've hosted a baby shower for Sweet Petite!

I'm so thankful for Renee, Carol and Mary for hosting such a lovely shower for my little one! Here are a few pictures from that shower.

Miss Lana, Vickie and Mary:

Mary was one of the fabulous hostesses!

The OSU ladies doing a "Go Pokes" picture:

The food at the shower consisted of mini quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins, hot cider, hot chocolate, juice, and other girl foodies. So tasty!

Opening gifts:

Renee, Lana and Vickie:

Renee was another hostess. I told her that I wanted her to be a flower girl in my wedding. She's unbelievably precious.

Activity toy and Sophie the Giraffe bathtub toy:

Owl crib mobile:

Gorgeous little baby dress:

OSU outfit from Miss Lisa:

All of these baby clothes have made my heart completely melt. They're so precious and tiny and yittle and I cannot wait to put my little angel in each of them!

Baby books and little food pop things:

The little things I'm holding on the right in the above picture are pretty cool. You can put food in there and the baby chews and sucks on it, and the food comes through the mesh--teaching your baby how to eat and like real food. Pretty cool little invention.

I absolutely adore this teddy bear play mat:

That is from Natalie--a lifelong friend who I used to hold when she was little. And now she's taller than me and beautiful. Thank you, sweet girl! Leia already loves it and has napped on it, and I know out little one will snuggle on it too :)

I really had a ball opening all of these gifts. It made having a baby seem real.

I got a beautiful Madame Alexander doll from Miss Lisa--one of my mom's childhood friends. This doll is made to go to Grandma's house, and that she will. She is a beautiful doll and I know our little girl will cherish her:

I LOVE all of these tutus! At this rate, my baby girl will be a definite girly girl:

Me and sweet Natalie:

Gifts galore:

This little girl is already so spoiled:

And thank you to Angela who was my faithful note taker so that I can write thank you notes:

By the way, I JUST now finished my Sunday School thank you notes, so you should be expecting them in the mail this week. So sorry it's taken me a few weeks, but I promise you'll get them :)

Thank you to EVERYONE who was able to come to the shower and show some love to Baby Girl Schoenthaler. She is already so very loved (and so very spoiled). Next time I'm in Tulsa, I'll bring her by the Sunday School class and introduce you to the little love that you prayed for for nine months. Thank you for your faithful and loving prayers for Baby Scho, and thank you for coming to my baby shower.

Love you guys!
