A few weeks ago, Jennifer, a sweet gal in my small group gave me a set of markers that can write on windows and mirrors. So I've been using them to write a different memory verse on my bathroom mirror each week. Here are the verses I've memorized thus far:
Mark 12:29-30
Romans 12:2
Colossians 2:8
Philippians 4:6
Matthew 20:26-28
I've used the excuse that "I'm not good at memorizing scripture" my whole life, but I've proven myself wrong. Any of you can call me up at any moment and quiz me on any one of these verses. I have all of these verses written down on a little spiral flip card thing and I read it from time to time throughout the day. It's wildly helpful and encouraging to know that I can, in fact, memorize scripture!!
