Last year Camie, my sister-in-law, started dating an upstanding guy named Spencer, and we all quickly knew he'd be the newest member of the Schoenthaler family. This man adores Camie and treats her as she deserves to be treated...like a Princess. Last December he put a ring on her finger and 3 months later, we were celebrating their wedding day!!
Princess Lucy was the flower girl, but there was not going to be any bed head for this diva:
We had to get our bed head and berry eating out of the way before Camie's big day!
The events started the Thursday night before the wedding. Camie, her bridesmaids, her mama, my mama, Lucy and I all met for sushi at In the Raw. I thought it'd be a fun way to get together and celebrate our beautiful bachelorette before the fun started!
After dinner, we had an old fashioned sleepover at Embassy Suites as well as a lingerie shower and cookies and cakes to munch on.
I SO enjoyed getting to know Camie's bridesmaids. They all came from different walks of Camie's life and they were equally delightful. And most importantly, they love and adore Camie, and have supported her along the way. Such a treat getting to know and celebrate with these girls!
Camie got some fun stuff that evening, but I'll spare you the details and her the embarrassment :)
Friday morning started off the right way...with manicures and pedicures.
No wedding is complete without pretty nails. We enjoyed getting pampered will eating chick fil a and then headed to Camie's house to get ready for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
And since I am a total loser, I got ZERO pictures of us getting ready and the rehearsal! But everything was beautiful. Picture perfect!
Saturday morning, we had a delicious brunch at Miss Barbara's house and got to relax before Camie became a Mrs.
We promptly headed over to the church and got ready for the wedding.
These cookies were provided by one of my bests, Lindsay Hassell. She is deliciously talented and I cannot recommend her cookies enough. You can find her at "The Happy Domestic" if you'd like to order some tasty and beautiful sugar cookies.
We had fun chatting, laughing, listening to music, and getting pampered while getting ready. Best day ever!
Words can't describe how gorgeous and precious Camie's bridesmaids are. I can't compliment them enough.
Ariane was the unofficial make-up artist :)
And the dress...
Oh that dress...
By far one of the most gorgeous bridal gowns I have ever seen!
All done up and ready for pictures!
Nakey flower baby!!!
Just waiting for the show to begin!
Most calm bride ever!
Hello, beautiful bridesmaids!

Brothers being brothers:
Drink up, Lucy!

(No no no...she was not drinking a diet coke! But this sure does make for a cute picture!)
The ceremony was beautiful! The bride and groom were beautiful! There were a ton of people there, celebrating the King family.
The reception was a blast, filled with food, cake, family, friends, dancing...
Crying...
And fireworks!
Lucy was amazed by the jumping jellyfish in the sky and loved seeing the bright colors. The booms didn't even scare her!
But I'll tell you what--she was wiped after a long day of celebrating Aunt Camie and Uncle Spencer:
Sunday morning came too early. Jamie and I got in bed probably around midnight and woke up before the crack of dawn. We had to be at the Tulsa airport by 5:00 AM to make our 6:00 flight. So. Tired.
The good thing about such an early flight on very little sleep is that this little girl slept the whole time on both flights:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
There isn't much better than a sleeping baby. Especially a sleeping baby on a plane.
Happy to be home with my girls :)
Over all, it was a top weekend! Everything went perfectly and Camie and Spencer were beautiful and memorable and just lovely! Congratulations to the King couple!!
Love you guys!
