Go Ragin' Cajuns!! And a Fart Video.

I'm not sure I've informed the blogging world of my husband's fabulous achievements as of late, but he is now a grad student at the University of Louisiana Lafayette! Whoop whoop! Go, Hot Stuff! I'm really proud of him and am excited for him to earn his graduate degree?...graduate diploma?...graduate license?...his Masters! Yes! I'm so very proud of him!

Since he is now a student, he gets to get into all of the sporting events for free, so we did a little date night to the UL basketball game against Denver last night.

Jamie nommed on a Diet Pepsi with Skittles (or Skimmles as we call them), and I had a slice of a "Great American Cookie Factory" piece of cookie cake and a Diet Dr. Pepper. The cookie went undocumented, because I think I finished it too quickly to even pull the camera out. Whoops. Note to self: Slow down with the cookie, Abby!

The game was actually very exciting and went into overtime!

Obviously, we didn't have a hard time finding a seat...UL basketball is slightly different than OSU basketball.

Random Memory directed to my Big, Kendall: Do you remember having to sit on the floor at the OSU/OU basketball game my junior year? Or Sophomore year? They oversold the tickets and there were zero seats left, so we had to sit on the floor in the handicapped section. It was a riot, but we ended up with good "seats"! Hope you remember that!

After a 5 minute overtime, UL beat Denver 72 to 71! It was a big game, but there was absolutely NO celebrating! The second that buzzer went off, everyone was outa there!
Kind of a buzz kill. I had a ball, but it made me miss OSU like crazy. GO POKES!

After the game, we went to Target, bought Stepbrothers and a snack for Jamie and headed home for a late night movie date. Love. That. Movie. The tooting scene during the interview...I absolutely die watching that part. Hilarious!

This morning...still wearing my UL shirt...Leia and I had an interesting walk. We went on our normal route and got about a mile ish away from the apartment, when it started to spit some rain. Just a few drops. No big deal, right? WRONG!!!! Within nano seconds, the heavens opened and the rain just poured down on us! Sideways, big rain! Out. Of. Con. Trol. I was like "doggonit, Leia! Let's start running!" So me and the pup ran as fast as our little (Leia) and large (Abby) legs could carry us!

In other news, I have the classiest video EVER for Funny Video Friday. Oh you know...just a farting video from Family Guy. Jamie sent it to me when I was in New Orleans with my family. Hope you enjoy it and get a few "LOL" moments :)
