Lucy Girl's Tulsa Sip-N-See

After our Memphis trip, Jamie and I planned on heading to Tulsa to see both of our families and for his Meme and Papa to meet Lucy. My mom was also throwing Lucy a sip-n-see with friends and family to meet and love on my lovable daughter.

So,  Monday morning, we got in the car and made the long drive to Tulsa.

Jamie and Lucy girl hanging out in the McDonald's parking lot.

We only did 2 big stops which made our drive about 8 ish hours long. Not terrible. But not stellar. Having a baby changes everything...and that means road trips in a mighty way! I thought Leia was high maintenance...Lucy makes Leia look like a stuffed animal!!

When we got to my parents house, it was nice to relax with everyone and stretch out for a little bit. Road trips wear me out!

Aunt Camie loving on her niece:

4 generations: Meme, Kiki, Camie, Lucy:

Meme hummed Lucy to sleep at the dinner table. It was all kinds of precious:

Me, Jamie and Lucy girl with Pops and Meme:

It was a perfect evening, and I know that Meme and Papa loved seeing their first great grandbaby.  Such a sweet moment.

Jamie had to leave Tulsa at the booty crack of dawn to catch a 6:00 AM flight to Las Vegas for a work trip. So that meant leaving the house at 4:30. Yeesh.

My mom and I were excited to spend the day together, but my morning started with a much needed pedicure. Heaven. Does it get any better than a pedi?

Then we had lunch outside at In The Raw--a must-go when I'm in town .

Lucy will love sushi too, I just know it!

I think Nana Lana enjoyed hanging out with her granddaughter:

Tuesday afternoon was Lucy's sip-n-see. We invited pretty much everyone that was invited to her many  baby showers, and almost 60 people came!! This child is well WELL loved. I'm so blessed for that.

Miss Nancy got to hold her for a bit and was loving every minute:

One of my lifetime besties still cannot believe that I have a baby:

Love you, Molly!

Leia Lu was kind of a sad pup throughout the whole party, because she whimpered by the food all night. No joke, at least 10 people came up to me and said they gave her just a corner of a sandwich. Just a corner. Well, by the end of the party, Leia had about 38 corners and 12 cookies. That pup was in a world of hurt the next day and spent quite a lot of time on the potty outside. Poor pup.

Molly, Me,  Lucy, Megan and Lori:

Lori was our pom sponsor back in high school and will forever be one of my favorites!

My mama jumped in this picture with us:

It was gorgeous outside, and I was thrilled to spend some time out there with friends and family.

Aunt Camie, Nana Lana, Mama Abby, Baby Lucy, Kiki:

Love the ladies in my family. So much!

Molly and I have been doing this pose since high school:

Classy, I know. But we have to do this because it's our "thing". Love you, Molly!

My aunt Kathy and uncle Cary even came, and I was thrilled they were able to make it.

Kathy loved holding sweet Lucy:

Thank you, Stacy and Megan, for coming!

Love you two so so much!

Oh hi, Big!!

Molly, Stacy, me and Megan:

Camie, stacy, Me, Megan, Kendall, Molly:

Mallory, Me, Lucy, Karen, Kendall, Hayley, Elizabeth:

Gosh, I have the GREATEST friends ever! These friends range from elementary school, high school, college Chi Omega--all walks of life!

After the sip-n-see, I had a girls night at Bonefish Grill with these 3 lovelies--Karen, Kendall and Hayley:

Thanks for loving on my little love, Hayley:

Thank you SOOOO much to everyone who made it to Lucy's little debut! So thankful for so many people who came to love on her and see me. I am so undeniably blessed to have so many people in my life who love me enough to want to come meet my daughter. Lucky little girl.

Wednesday was another fun day. My mama's friend, Gaile, came to visit Lucy and then we headed out to lunch.

Lucy slept through lunch as usual:

She was rocking her Vera Bradley outfit again while snoozing away:

That afternoon, we spent some time rocking on the porch since it was gorgeous outside:

Naked Ninny!!!!

Wednesday night, my dad's side of the family came over to meet the newest little family member. I love the closeness of my family and love and cherish our get togethers. Angela actually totally stole the show and surprised everyone by coming in town! She flew in town, got a rental car, drove to our house and was there right in time for dinner. Big tears from everyone! Huge surprise! So thankful she came just for this night.

So everyone came over for dinner tonight, we did what we do best at family dinners--sit and talk and tell stories and laugh. I love my family!

KK and Emma with Lucy, the thumb-sucker:

My precious family:

All the ladies and Owen...sorry, buddy. We just keep having girls, but hopefully you'll get a boy cousin one day:

Aunt Angela and Lucy:

Papa Steve with his little girl:

It was the PERFECT evening and I loved having the family over! Love you guys!

On Thursday, we started off the morning by visiting my Grandma Betty so she could meet Lucy. My goodness, she sure loved meeting her.

I love my Grandma Betty to pieces! She was the best Grandma growing up and I learned so much from her through the years.

She said she wanted to roll down the hallway and brag to the other ladies that her granddaughter and great-granddaughter were visiting :)

Love you, Grandma!

After that, we headed to Utica Square to have lunch with Natalie and her mama.

Love you, sweet Natalie:

Natalie painted a sweet butterfly painting, and Lucy's name to go in her room. So cute!

That afternoon, my dad took some PRECIOUS pictures of Lucy (which I'll post later), and then we all headed home for a much needed nap.

Thursday night was dinner at The Bistro with Kim, Camie and my mama. Fun night! Love my family!

Then it was cuddle time at home with Papa Steve:

Friday morning, Kim drove with me all the way back to Lafayette with Lucy so that I wouldn't be alone.

Lucy wanted to take over the drive. She thought we'd get there a little faster with her behind the wheel:

Maybe next time, Lucy.

Marty met us in Lafayette on Saturday so that he could see his grandbaby:

Saturday afternoon, we just hung out around the apartment, but that night, we went to Ruth's Chris for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day.

I love being a mother :)

My sweet family of 4 before dinner:

Chief, Kiki and Lucy:

Thanks for visiting, you guys! Love you so so much!

It was a crazy busy first couple of weeks away, but I was so glad to get away and see SO MANY family and friends!

Here are a few more pictures of my little girl in case you haven't seen enough already...

Her 3 month picture:

Is my baby doll not precious?!?

Lucy has figured out how to shinny out of her miracle swaddle:

 She's so proud of herself:

Daddy and Lucy:

Sorry for the mile-long post. I had a lot of catching up to do and some really cute pictures to share :) Hope everyone is doing well! Love you guys!
